Mid-Shore Meats — Restaurant in Toms River

I've tried 3 different butchers since moving here and this by FAR is THE best!! I go twice a week because I don't like to freeze meat, but I have NEVER got anything less than perfect. Today I finally tried the sausage, hot and regular... They are delicious! I've had sausage from others and would make a drive forty min north to get them because I couldn't find a good place here. The pepper steak and chicken cordon Bleu(pictured) is great and their stuffed pork chops are amazing!! Beef is ground for you fresh so you don't have to wonder how long a package is sitting there for. The pasta is another favorite, all different varieties of ravioli and others. Their prices are fair, their service is great, and they've made where I don't need to go to the grocery store for any meats.... I haven't tried the deli section..YET... But everything looks good, I saw some stuffed shrimp the other day that I was going to get but I was already loaded with stuff.... A must try is the homemade mango glaze!!! It goes perfect on chicken and pork... Sweet with a kick of spice!! Don't pass...

I’ve never posted a negative review on a business. I live less than a mile away. Only wish I could spend my $$$$ there. Been there 3x in past 7 days. Walked out all 3 times because while at butcher counter I stood there for at least 5 min w out being acknowledged while staff members BS about their summer vaca, the success of their kid at OCC and how they lost their dentures after night of drinking. Unreal. Unfortunately for me I will now always drive to silverton to spend my $$$$ at Lenny’s which is and always has been light years ahead when it comes to service. I’m beginning to think mid shore must just be there to launder dirty...

I love this place... been buying my meats here for 25 years now (and other amazing treats, sauces, soups, deli salads, and omg the bread... 🤤🤤🤤). For as long as they stay open, I'll always come here, and almost brake the bank when I do. 😂 They even have nice light baskets now, that have pull-up handles, so they become rolling carts. Super handy if you're like me and get really REALLY tempted. I've never tried anything here I didn't like, in all the time I've come here. Most things I LOVE, and look for again. Give this place a try, I'm pretty sure you won't be...
