This is the single best market/deli/grocery on the planet. It is the highlight of my visit down the shore every single year. I’ve never had a bad meal or experience. What’s good? Everything. What’s great? Everything. Everyone already knows this. Just go.

Fresh market with produce and a huge deli with plenty of meats, cheese and sides to choose from. Prices a bit higher but then again it's an island. We found caviar, ready to eat salads, and seafood. You have to be fully clothed before entering

I had such a disappointing experience there this morning. I went in with my 2 and 1/2-year-old son in his stroller and I was looking at the strawberries. I selected a package and placed it on the stroller where my son then knocked it into his stroller where it opened. I place the package on the shelf to reseal it and put it back in my basket and the manager or someone who works there huffed and shrugged and carried on at me and I said sorry, I'm just closing it I am buying them and then he snapped at me that the packages are not supposed to be open. I was so embarrassed and astonished because I was planning to purchase the item, I wasn't putting them back, nothing fell on the floor or anything. And I kindly explain this to him. At this point I decided to just leave the item and leave the store where another woman behind the coffee pastry counter snapped at me that she saw me hand the item to my son. To which I replied this is the most ridiculous experience I've ever had I will make sure not to come back and to which they both replied good.

I could understand if I had selected different strawberries from different packages and you're not supposed to do that but all I was trying to do was reseal the package that I was planning on buying I have no idea why two people in the store decided be...

The owner must treat his employees terribly or hires people who act rude on purpose. Probably a bit of both. Worst customer service ever. And I’m a local who live here year round. They treat you like they are doing you a favor being there. I have wrongly spent thousands of dollars there over the years but refuse to after last Visit. When after grocery shopping my wife asked for me to pick up some coleslaw. Got a 7$ pint of slaw and they Rudely told sorry 10$ min in credit cards (sorry I had no cash) and they looked at each other and said “I’m not getting yelled at by the owner” and refused to sell it to me. Like lack of common sense robots. Really ? I’ve been putting up with the attitudes mthere for too long and I’ve vowed never to return and spread the word. Attitudes like that usually gravitate from the top down. Pathetic. Take the time and travel another couple of minutes...

My entire family has been giving service to the business for at least 40+ years, since it was Ebbie’s market. My dad ran in there to pick up a huge and very expensive order yesterday with no shoes on and he was publicly embarrassed and kicked out in front of everyone. My dad said he would stand outside until it’s done and the order was cancelled in front of everyone and he was asked to leave. I totally get an establishment has their own rules and they absolutely should be obeyed but not for nothing, you own a market down the beach. My family members have spent thousands a year at Lasolas between all of us and for my dad to be treated like a 12 year old kid kicked out of a store for screwing around is just ridiculous. Not another penny of our money will ever be spent here again. Very...
