Pondrelli's Pizza And Kitchen — Restaurant in Toms River

Pondrellis is a cute little pizza joint. They have about 7ish tables to sit in and eat, they do delivery, and are on doordash/grubhub. They have a good looking menu and they offer catering at a decent price. The store is very clean and well-decorated. The workers behind the counter were very welcoming and friendly. They answered all the questions I had. Now for the part you're looking for.. the food. We ordered an antipasto with Italian dressing and ranch dressing, American cheese French fries, and a super thin crust/crispy plain pizza. The antipasto was delicious. The toppings on the salad were nice and fresh. They put a pesto spread on it and it was beyond wonderful. I have never had a hard boiled egg on my antipasto but there was one and it was a nice addition to it. I was not a fan of the Italian but the ranch dressing that came with it was delicious. Next time I'll order a bigger size to go with it since I dip my pizza in it as well. The french fries were very crispy almost like a double fried fry. They were so good. The thin crust pizza, that I've seen on tiktok before going, was delicious. I love a good thin crust pizza dipped in ranch. I should have taken a picture of the thin-ness of the pizza. It was not overcooked and had the perfect texture to hold and no "weep" or sag. Hands down one of the best spots in Toms River!

Every item I’ve tried has been fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection.

They also do a great job with takeout and delivery—food always arrives hot and well-packaged.

Bottom line: If you’re in or around Toms River and craving legit, high-quality food with heart behind it, Pondrelli’s Pizza & Kitchen should be at the top of your list....

It's a shame that they did not only raise their prices properly to match today's inflation but yet they decided to essentially double or more some items you triple the price but offer the same standard size portions and intermediate ingredients. I paid $8.88!!! Yes, especially $9 for a pepperoni and a thin crust w/ vodka sauce ( which the dough was not fully cooked, was way over kneaded & definitely was no where near fresh enough to still be in display case as it should have been tossed) !! No where near justifiable nor understandable, not even a bit.. I'm actually flat out disgusted with that. Unfortunately, I will NEVER return here do to the greed.. I mean every other pizzeria within a 10-mile radius properly raised their prices to match the inflation which would come out to as high as $4 a special sauce that is with chicken parm or something not almost $5 per standard plane or pepperoni slice! I am upset but at the same time I feel bad because they are going to be the ones to close their own doors. Slowly but surely customers will drop off your consumer list and to go elsewhere. I understand they want to make more money but they have to understand that the public does not have more money...
