Greeted in a friendly way immediately when walking in, Kathy was friendly and helpful. The food came out steaming hot and fresh, brought right to our table, we got the 9" philly both ways sandwich and the Smash-a-rue sandwich with 2 medium 30oz drinks price total was $40. Food was good and we thought it was overall delicious and mostly worth the price point for the amount you get.

They have $10 Taco bowl specials on Tuesdays , and Thursdays 2 chili beef dogs for $8! The giant blueberry cinnamon rolls looked heavenly too.

One singular disappointment was that they don't currently have the hot mustard pickles due to supply chain issues/cost which is completely understandable I just really wanted to try them, hopefully they can get it again or maybe even find a local pickle maker/canner to buy local specialty pickles from. Love the hot sauces they had available. Something to note is soda refills are limited to one refill per visit.

Most amazing burger I’ve had in a long time. Local Topekans can compare the smash burger to a pad style burger but so so so much better. The seasoning along with the grilled onions was the cherry on this meat cupcake. My husband had the Smash-A-Rue and it was also amazing the sauerkraut wasn’t too tangy and paired perfectly with everything. We also had the coleslaw and it was a nice blend a little on the sweeter side than vinegary. (Which I personally like). We were greeted immediately when walking in and checked on multiple times while dining. There are only 5 tables inside so seating is limited. Fantastic little shop! I had the 6" Philly and it was absolutely delicious. The German potato salad is a must try, as are the hot mustard pickles. I would've provided a photo, but it was so good I forgot all about doing so. Definitely give this place a whirl if you're looking for a nice switchup on a sandwich spot! Can't wait to try...
