UPDATE: Went in again hoping for a better experience. The air conditioner was running this time but it was still quite warm in the restaurant. My friend and I each ordered the nachos, mine with beef and hers with chicken. When our order came out they were both beef. Our server was no where to be found and when we tried to get someone's attention they ignored us. The also have new menus with higher prices, 2.99 a taco with lettuce and cheese only. Not a lot of meat either. Or you can get 3 tacos w/rice and beans for $12.99. At least at Taco Bell you get tomatoes. I probably won't be headed back there any time soon.

We went for a late mother's day dinner and it was sort of disappointing. There was no air conditioning, so it was extremely warm in the place. We had to ask them to turn on the ceiling fans and then we saw them bring in a large fan for the kitchen. The food was good bit very skimpy. I had 3 soft taco's and there was hardly any meat in them. For the price of one they could or should have put all of the meat in one taco. My granddaughter ordered 3 hard taco's, then had to order 2 more because all she got was shell. The bill had been paid but the taco's still hadn't even came out. We had to ask the waiter to get them when he asked if we needed anything else, after we were still sitting there 15 minutes after he took and brought back the bill. I'm a fan of the following: Pan fried tacos, strong margaritas, clean restaurants, and patios. To be honest - finding all of the above is often a challenge in Topeka...

They have an adorable little patio. We were the only ones out there. A CRYING SHAME TOPCITY. Shame, shame, I know your name!

The food was great. I usually get chicken pan fried tacos but here they offer their ground beef with potatoes 😐 Guess what I chose.

The restaurant was spotless. Including the restroom - YES, shake it off Love. You read that right. A clean Topeka bathroom, don't ruin it for me.

The icing on the cake was the friendly service we recieved. Very sweet and attentive waitress.

The only drawback was their margaritas are weak - tasty - but weak. Bring a Margarita Jaliscos frozen marg to this patio and you'd have to kick me out.

Highly recommend. If you're petty like me - this is your spot.

Service was horrible. Food was good til they brought the wrong thing then when I did get what I ordered the quality was not what I received in previous times. We waited over 45 mins for our food,mine came out at least 20 mins after everyone else and it was not what I ordered. Then another 10 for my actual meal. I asked to talk to a manager and she was only willing to give a discount,not to take my meal off the bill.(she didnt indicate what kind of discount) Also my son ordered a sweet tea,got one refill and was charged for 2 sweet teas. I addressed that with the server,she told the manager who told her they charge for a second one. I asked for a menu and showed the manager that it clearly states,free refills in the section where sweet tea is listed. If you are going to have a menu,learn it and don't lie about it.
