The new owners have started getting it right. The food has improved and the staff are much better at doing their job. Play area is a great place to go for a break and the happy hour makes it a cheap playdate place.
Updated 09/01/2016 - (1 star) The new owners haven't helped the overall picture of this Sonic. If anything it is worse because of the new owner. His attitude and demeanor have made the Sonic less concerned about the quality and service.
My last 3 orders have had issues. How hard is it to make a Diet Coke, 2 Bacon breakfast burritos? Next to no cheese and sausage instead of bacon. How hard is it to make a cookies & cream shake? No cookies and cream... just the ice cream.
When I contacted the owner/manager he didn't care. Owner said "What do you want me to do?" Not even an apology or offer to make it right.

I wish I could say the same as I did 4 years ago. But the evening or night manager is rude, unresponsive to customers. I had to drive back 5 miles to get our order fixed. His response what to basically blow me off. I did try to call and let them know, but the phone wasn't answered and it seems that is their general practice. I tried 4 times, no one answered. Tried while I was in the store, still no one answered. Tried again this morning before writing this review. Same - No answer. Poor customer service.
I ordered a SM Oreo Malt w/o whipped cream. I got a plain vanilla shake, no cherry, no apology.
New owners took over about 6-8 months ago. Seemed to be trying to upgrade the service... not so much now. The overall appearance has been upgraded, new menu boards, a bit of paint. But that doesn't make up for the poor service.
Food over all is what you'd expect from Sonic.
Services isn't.

Read moreMe, my girlfriend and her kids got there figured out what we all wanted, hit the button and go figure the speaker didn't work so the kid came out to see why we didn't order then said "that one hasn't been working correctly" and then asked if we had a big order or small order, I said it was a big order, instead of going to another speaker he took 5 minutes to go in and get a pen and paper. I told him the order little bit by little bit so he could write it all down. We get our food, and we're missing food and got a wrong drink, so I pull back up to a speaker that works and explained everything. Another kid comes out, I explain, he says they can't find the ticket for our order, and questioned if we got our food that day because we didn't get the receipt from the girl that brought out the food, but he goes back in, comes back takes the food and drinks inside because the manager wanted to make the food and everything fresh, then proceeds to bring out the same food that was taken in, and the same drinks. He says that they're making the missing food, but the kid that took the order didn't write down what was missing because I didn't say that part of the order, which obviously wasn't true, and wrote down the wrong drink because that's what I said, told us we were going to have to pay for what was missing or wrong, and after I explained that I had better things to do than to be picking arguments about missing food on a order he understood, but we finally got what was missing including the drink, and I asked how much I owed he said he told me he never said I had to pay, but every employee was mean mugging us as they came out to deliver orders, definitely don't plan to go to that location again if I go back to...
Read moreWhat a joke. Push the button to order, and a guy comes on trying to hurry me. I order a chicken strip dinner. He does not put it in as the whole meal, just the strips. Then I order a corn dog and burrito. He then gives the total and hangs up before I can mention the drink, or lack there of. I push the button again and a gal comes on and rudely tells me I ordered wrong. I explain I would like a drink, and sauce for my tenders. She then takes those and hangs up, no total repeated. I select pay with the app and it instantly goes to ads. They come out with my food and I am told "oh sorry the pay from the app feature doesn't work on this menu."
