I don’t do reviews on businesses, but all I can say is what comes around, goes around. I came in there at 11:15 AM to use the restroom because I hadn’t went since biggs junction in Oregon, I am a woman traveling alone and voice that concern that I didn’t feel comfortable nor safe to go And use the porta potty way out back at your truckstop. I get the sign on the door said restrooms are for customers only, however, as a fellow woman, your front desk lady should have felt human decency and compassion of understanding where a woman is coming from when she says she does not want to use The restroom or feel safe going to alone and should’ve just said you know what I got you girl, use our restroom. And I gladly would’ve bought a soda or something for the rest of my trip. Shame on your staff teach them decency in this world. God forbid somebody does that to one of your daughters. God forbid what if somebody would’ve kidnapped me and that was the last thing that woman was told was the woman didn’t feel safe using the Porta potty outback.🙏🏽 I would’ve had no problem buying something after being able to use the restroom, however if I would’ve had, the woman show me some common decency and just understand my predicament as a single traveling woman without her husband and say you know what I understand go ahead, girl use the restroom, I probably wouldn’t of bought anything, but I would’ve left her a pretty good tip for just being a good person and a good...
Read moreJust passing through. I usually don't stop here because it seems unfriendly to truckers and I was right. Next time ill continue on to Ellensburg. Which is such a waste because with such a big building attached to a big truck parking lot, you could easily put a Hot food case with chips, candy, and soda in the front, local tshirts or whatever for sale and capitalize on that market while also having a sit down restaurant space. So much unused seating when I came. The staff were just cleaning. One server one was happily attentive to me. The lounge was closed, a whole event area dark and gloomy. Bathrooms locked for customers only with Porta potties outside with no toilet paper stocked. The menu is lacking identity, specializing in nothing but trying to hit everything with as little words possible. Just sucks. Such a huge space, so much potential, lacks vision and ingenuity and capitalism. Go to a Pilot or Flying J, they have convenience and restaurant. This restaurant shuts out truckers, "buy what we have or dont come in". Isn't the goal of a business to make money? Maybe I'm wrong, looks like something else was here before, maybe it didn't do well, or maybe they also sucked at it. Idk, just my 2 cents. Maybe I'll...
Read moreMy family and I were excited to try this restaurant for breakfast, and while the food was amazing and reasonably priced, the service was absolutely terrible. From the start, our server gave us attitude, especially when asking my spouse what he wanted on his chicken fried steak. He was simply trying to clarify what typically comes with it besides gravy, but her response was rude and dismissive.
Throughout our meal, no one checked in to see how the food was or offered drink refills, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Instead, the servers were gathered at the counter, gossiping the entire time. After we waited over 10 minutes for our check, I had to wave down a server. Rather than coming to our table, she yelled across the room to ask what we needed.
I’ve never left a restaurant without leaving a tip, but today I felt justified. It’s a shame because the food was fantastic, but the poor service completely ruined our experience. We won’t...
