So I gave this place a few shots at earning my patronage. I live and work in Toppenish so eating out is normal occurrence and I spend roughly 8-15 dollars a day on lunches. Our team likes to stop here on Fridays.
Our first stop was okay. The food was good. My issue was, there are four men in my department. And they gave us one brown bag of chips. I asked, "Is this enough chips for us four men?" The server said, "Yes, that is enough." Feeling reassured, I said, "Thanks," paid and left a 5 dollar tip on a 11 dollar ticket.
Got back to the office, for 4 men, we had to split 1/4 bag of chips. The bag was FULL of napkins. I was heated. When we eat at the place, they refill the chip tray up to 3 times easily. So the amount of chips should not have been an issue.
Second stop. I asked the server for my own bag of chips and I briefly mentioned I didn't have enough chips last time. So, she attempted to charge me 3 dollars for an 'extra bag of chips.' I told her, "No." I want my stuff packaged separately from my co-workers because I do not want to share a handful of chips. So she glared at me and asked my coworkers if they would like our food separate. They said, "Sure." and she kept looking at me like I was being totally unreasonable. I did NOT leave a tip this time. It felt hostile. I almost didn't want to come back.
Third trip and last straw. I ordered three beef enchiladas. Asked for chips separate again. She seemed okay with it, but kind of leered at me. I was being polite and ordered 14 dollars of food. Not feeling okay with being leered at, I did not leave a tip.
We got back to the office, my coworkers all got full bags of chips. I got a 1/3 bag of chips. And only two enchiladas. I paid for 3. So basically, the server just singled me out and made me pay for food I didn't get.
I will not be eating there anymore. This server just cost this business hundreds of dollars of my business a year. I can put up with her leering and snobby attitude, but charging me for food I did not get and then doing what they did with the full bags of chips and giving me a 1/3 bag of chips just to single me out is inexcusable. I was polite the...

Read moreThe rice and beans were really great. Salsa and chips were tasty. The green sauce was good. I always have it on the side because I never know if I will really appreciate it. Then we come to the shrimp enchiladas. It was so disappointing because it was made with the tiniest and I mean tiny cocktail shrimp that you can buy. It had no taste whatsoever and not a very good smell so what you see is what I ate. My first thought is probably my taster and then I got a little concerned. I'm sure it was okay but I always err on the side of caution with seafood and chicken 4 odor. The kids that live in Yakima Washington say that they have eaten there many times and they like it. We are from New Mexico and so when we have asada it is carne asada with nice chunks of beef with a red sauce. It is nothing like a flat piece of beef that you get here in Washington and hubby said it had no flavor whatsoever. When the daughter had it at another restaurant, I tasted it and it was the same so I knew...
