McDonald's — Restaurant in Topsham

For 10:30 in the morning, there were so many people in the lobby area waiting for their orders.. I waited about 30 minutes to receive my order, and I was dining in.. I get that they are maybe trying their hardest but there were literally only three people in the back making food and running drive through; which the line was so long people were deciding to come inside thinking it would be faster; and a lady with health problems that made her have to sit in a chair in front of the registers to take peoples orders. Multiple people left without their food, two people had only ordered a single burger each and drinks and they waited about the same amount of time as me for my order. They actually ordered their stuff right after me. The numbers for orders were all mixed up and didn't make sense. I could go on, but I feel like I'd need to write a few paragraphs.. Their food tasted great once it finally came out. Myself and many others probably would have had a WAY better experience here if this McDonald's location had more employees and were better prepared for any time of the day rush. Also, employees should NOT be swearing and hollering about how stressed out they are in the current situation while in the situation and especially in front of 15+ customers. (Older lady, rough voice, sarcastic attitude brown hair, was in a braid that day) Oh yeah and if you try to get the thing where they are supposed to bring your tray to your table?.. You will be sitting at your table waiting for no reason because they make you come get your own tray at the front even if they aren't busy. Good luck on any day during any rush until this location hires more employees and maybe have a talk with grumpy in the back about work etiquette and tell her to do a few lobby runs cause that's a mess too.. This place is just a mess right now....

I usually prefer the McDonald's in Topsham or Augusta, ME Usually the food is good and fresh and customer service is great when we go either thru the drive thru or eat inside...Last week my b/f and myself went to the one in Augusta and realized how everyone everywhere is starting to provide less product for the buck...why not deliver same product you see on tv like in the earlier days and charge the price of today...It would be more tolerable...anyway, today I had an apt. in the Topsham area and went inside to order and dine in...I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich meal...first of all, the girl got my drink wrong, then I got back to the table to eat after she got it correctly done, the frenchfries were fried in old grease it seemed and they were cold...did not taste right and my sandwich was this tiny piece of chicken or at least I hope it was chicken..I have a cold so not 100% of the taste and two small pickles. I went up and asked the cashier if this was what it was suppose to be and she said yes....so not worth the money they charged me. I will not be eating at any McDonalds again for a long time if at all again,,,,just not worth the expense or product....blah!!!! Sorry McD's thumbs down twice now....sadly disappointed!!! We went again and waited 20 mins or so in drive thru to only be told that the frappe machine was down...how awful!! The food quality at this one is decreasing like everywhere else...the prices go up the food portions and quality of such food are really horrible...McDonalds Shame on ya for ripping the consumers off!!! ...

My girlfriend and I just get home with our food(5min drive). I wanted to call and explain a few key issues with my order but I wouldn't be surprised if was to be pushed aside. 2 Quarter pounders only Mac sauce, shredded lettuce, and slivered onions. Two apple pies and a coke. One of the burgers was fine, skimpy on the sauce, lettuce and onions I must say. The other burger patty was OLD, Dry, and cold. I could understand 10pm isn't the best time to get a burger but, that was the WORST quality I've ever seen. Who ever was the cook back there, it said a lot. It was as if it was a cry for help that he hates his job and doesn't have a care in the world for quality or the coustomers satisfaction. I even had to wait extra time in the drive through for this burger to get ready. 1/10 bad. Maybe .5/10 that's how bad this was. Apple Pies, My girlfriend has an apple pie. It was cooked. Mine was RAW thawed barely baked RAW. I couldn't eat it. Really, I have a high tolerance but this did it. What a waste. All and all, this was the worst experience I ever had. The managers appearance even made me uncomfortable. I'll end it on a good note with that kid on drive through, good kid. He was very polite and did a good job. His manager(female) looked like she felt obligated to hold his hand the whole time he made my soda... Chill lady, it's a large coke....
