I don't usually write a review but in this case, we had too.
Early this morning, my husband and i went to get some coffee on our way back to Nova Scotia.
Cassie, who works there, politely asks my husband if we were on a road trip. He said, yes. Shortly after, she come out with food, that had to be routinely thrown out. It was bags upon bags of muffins, cookies, cake pops, brownies.... Instead of going to waste, it fed our family of 6 for our 10 hour road trip home!
My husband was at a lost for words, and almost forgot to pay for our 2 coffees. He also tried to tip her but instead she put the tip in the tip jar (for her co-workers). Cassie was so genuine and kind. It was like she knew that we needed something.
Then he went to pay, Cassie peacefully said, "It's on me..." I was in tears and i could tell my husband was fighting back the tears.
As we drove away in awe, my 7 year old daughter, joyfully shouted, "God answered my prayer!" The day before, we drove 13 hrs and had run out of food for our road trip. That morning, our 7 yr old had prayed that we would get snacks for the last day our our trip. We didn't know a thing about this inner request.
We had to share about Cassie's kindness. It was genuine and divine. To this family of 6, it was the best Starbucks experience we've ever...
Read moreI had to order my coffee twice, they kept saying they didn’t even know what foam they put on but that’s it’s my coffee. It was def not. I ordered a salted cold brew, the second time waiting in the drive thru they gave me the same wrong coffee, wrong foam- and when I said repeated what kind of coffee they said ‘yeah that’s it’ and I pointed out there isn’t cinnamon on it, and the foam was the golden not salted - they help a shaker of cinnamon out the window, had me open my coffee out the window spilling it all over my arm and car, dumped cinnamon all in my drink, and all over my arm, giggled and asked “ do you need a napkin?” I have tried to call to talk to a manager just because I felt like that was really not okay and no one will answer the phone. To the baristas, I understand we all make mistakes, but I had a crying baby in the car and was on the verge of tears the second time I came to the window and I felt zero compassion or sympathy. I know we’ll never see each other again, but a simple apology would’ve really changed everything. I have come to this Starbucks before and never had anything like this happen. The staff is always amazing, but I will not come to this Starbucks again. I am currently drinking the correct coffee. I ordered at the Starbucks...
Read moreEven though the line was out past wendy’s the customer service was amazing! The man that took my order, you could tell just from his voice that he had a smile on his face and was very welcoming and focused on my order not what was going on around him inside. The guy that handed me my drink at the window actually seemed like he cared about the conversation he started up while he was waiting for my drink to be made. He asked how my day was going and actually waited for a response instead of cutting me off and asking for my card or walking away (which never happens). Not to mention he gave me a cup of whipped cream for my 2 dogs in the back! Drinks spot on! Defiantly recommend. Best customer service i’ve seen in a long time! Only regret is I didn’t thank the guy personally for just going over the top and being kind! Defiantly need more people like him in this...
