Me and the the fam do laundry across the street so naturally the wife want her Starbucks. Always passed by this place and it just caught my eye. Don’t know why. I took a menu from the spot and kept it in the glove compartment for some time. One day I was coming down from some acid and was hungry like a mofo. Oh before I say anything more I must mention that when I saw the menu I saw they had shrimp fried rice and that is all it took to seal the deal. However, I am VERY SKETCH on my shrimp fried rice. I only get it from one spot and it’s been like that for around 13 years. Anywho. Coming down from that and I said “screw it! Let’s try it” got the shrimp fried rice and the lunch special of orange chicken. The sfr was dank! Wont compare it to the other but honestly I was impressed. My wife said the orange chicken was ok and that the chicken was hard. I tried it I loved the sauce and the fried rice…well I had just tried it so no difference. I told her that I kinda saw that coming from the chicken bc of the big menu that they have so that is the only negative but I will definitely mess with this place again! Oh the service was quick and straight to the point. The way...
Read moreI was told by someone that this place got good Chinese food. Afterwards I went online to check out what the reviews are about this place and so far, most of which were positive. So, I figure I'll give this place a shot.
So the first thing is that they don't or rarely answer the phone, so you can't place a phone order,... I hear it's 'that good'!.. hence, I drove down and placed my order.
2 - they take a real long time to have the food ready. So I was even down with the wait too. My wait was approximately 1.5 hr .... Woooaaahh .. this place better taste f'in good of they take that long to prepare your meal.
3 - I pick up the food and take home. Everything we ordered wasnt what we expected. Chowmein was real greasy. Kung Pao also greasy with a but of sweet taste to it, we didn't like. We also ordered soup and egg rolls, none of which we liked. The soup had no taste and was quite bland.
Boy what a big disappointment from this place. And to say the least they are looking for a chef, been looking for 3 years... Good luck with that!
Over all, I won't be returning to this place. Their style of food is a bit too greasy and not for...
Read moreMy wife had fond memories of this place from her childhood, she told me she wanted to take me to a really good Chinese restuarant, she said it was called Tin Sing then. Recently I had gave up on Chinese food in Los Angeles because the quality had dropped off the chart. Okay, here we go.. that food was so greasy/oily! Salty, what a disappointment. Now, it came out very very fast, and it was HOT(temperture), but it tore a hole in both of our lower intestines. I myself had to visit the porcelain queen over 9 times! Her stomach was ripped up.. I tried giving our Pitbull that fake chinese - Cantonese food, this dog will eat anything, watermelon, grapes, fresh garlic, etc, etc. She sniffed this food, looked at me with angry eyes and left the room. The next morning it was still in her bowl, untouched. You know that little angel on one side of your shoulder that pre-warns you NOT to do something? Well, I have to listen from now on. All those reviews that say something is good? Don't believe it unless you will eat anything or your taste buds aren't use to...
