I had a screen replaced here. They quoted 30min repair. It took more like 10-15min, which was great. BUT the screen broke again 4 days later. I didn't drop it or let anyone else use it. It was in a case (also purchased here), but just cracked. It was in a corner, so NBD. But the crack spread. I went back, but they wouldn't honor their warranty. I'm not sure how I managed to own a phone for 5yrs & never cracked the screen, until the case broke, but all of a sudden a replaced screen breaks within 4 days, with a case & not being dropped. That's $260 down the drain & a lost customer.
I was really hoping to like this place & it's work. Sadly, it's not so. Get your phone repaired at a place where the fix will last longer.
EDIT: The store's reply is that the phone's screen had a crack. I agree that's the problem! As someone who doesn't replace their phone when a new one comes out, I do a great job maintaining/protecting my devices. I've had this phone 5yrs. The case broke, instead of buying a new one I tried to live without a case. Big mistake. I dropped the phone numerous times, the screen cracked numerous times.
I found this repair place & figured I'd get the screen fixed. Within 4 days the screen cracked although I NEVER DROPPED THE PHONE. That suggests maybe it's a faulty screen. After all there's a 90 day warranty because not everything works & not everything works perfectly. If I had dropped my phone & it cracked Phone Electrik woul be absolutely right. HOWEVER, I DID NO SUCH THING. I was simply Googling. I noticed a small crack in a corner, decided to ignore it because it didn't affect my visibility. But then the next day, the crack expanded & branched to several places & all I had done was charge it.
I once had a phone repair at a place in Cerritos. I really wish I'd gone to them. That screen lasted me another...
Read moreI own a pixel 7pro, brought it for a screen repair and due to the phone having a on screen fingerprint unlock feature the screen was very expensive over $250+ I forgot the correct amount, then on top the labor.
After a few days the screen started to detach. I brought it for him to take a look at it and the guy told me that he didn't want to risk it and told me to wait; even though the screen was still under warranty and labor too because is not even 30 days.
A few days later the screen was detaching more and finally it broke by itself. No drops, no hits it just cracked from the areas it detached, it could have been for incorrect installation or defected screen.
When I brought it up to him again, he just said he will ask his seller, if it was replaceable.
So my issue is that I made business with him, I brought it to him when it started detaching, he told me to wait because he didn't want to risk it damaging more.
The Screen kept detaching and it finally broke. Now he denies the 30day or 90day warranty.
This guy don't stand behind his work. It's something that sadly is bad for business. So be aware before you do business here.
Then he said he will get me a screen protection for the cracked screen.... (really).
After that never heard back.
Edit: i was reading the reviews and it looks like it happened to someone else too. I Had the same experience. Many years without the screen cracking, well till finally I cracked it, but after replacing the screen it cracked after only a few days and WITH A CASE...
SO BEWARE if you have a on Screen Fingerprint Feature DONT BRING IT HERE. Take it to a place that stands behind their work because it's...
Read moreNice people until they get called out on their wrongdoings. Came in to get my battery replaced (for the second time with them within 6 months). After getting my phone back I get to my car and notice my volume side controls aren't working, so cant turn up/down volume and the on/off slider on the side of the Iphone is completely not working.
I go back in to tell them and they tell me it's not their problem, and accuse me of lying about it not working prior to me walking in even though I saw them be able to turn my phone off by pressing the two side buttons which wasnt working anymore after I got it back. After I called them out on it, they kept telling me it's "not their problem" over and over again, and if I want they can put in my old battery back, so essentially walk out with a phone more broken than walking in.
Funny enough, when explaining the situation a lady walked in for help and said that happened to her as well since she overheard, in which he quickly kicked her out of the store.
Have been here a few times and the 3/4 times I have, my phone had a different problem walking out than when I did walking in. Again, nice people when all is well but quick to blame you when they mess up your phone. Now i'm down $65 for a battery, phone is more broken than before, but I at least know I will never give this place my money again after being...
