After living in NYC for ten years, chicken parm sandwiches are one of my favorites. Having had Piccini's pizza I decided it's time for sub. Two things that makes for a killer chicken parm sandwhich. Marinara and a slightly crisp, buttery Italian bread. You see, the two compliment eachother. The crispiness of the bread holds up from the marinara and the marinara helps soften the bread but it's the two that create a great texture and flavor. Combine that with a nice breaded chicken breast and cheese, melted open face in the pizza oven before serving... you have a wonderful sub. When I took my sandwich out of the bag, wrapped in it's nice papper, I could tell the bread was going to really soft but when I unwrapped it and opened up the bread, I was crushed to see no marinara sauce. There was some cheese, chicken tenders brushed with sauce and some basil. I knew then this was going to require a large drink to wash it down or I'd choke trying. Come on folks, it's not a chicken parm without sauce. It's a hazard without sauce! One can have soft chew bread, but no sauce? Now I could have given this no stars but truth is, it was well seasoned and a very good size for the price. The chicken tenders might scare you off but it was flavorful and a nice consistency for a sandwich. Yes it was dry and chewy but it has potential. If you would say least put sauce on it, this 2 start goes up to 3. Open face broil that baby so the cheese, sauce and chicken become one and and the bread is hot and you have 4, Change the bread and it's a 5 star sub. At least add sauce, please!

Piccini Italian Takeout is a new family favorite; run by the same family that owned Guiliano's in Gardena and later, Gaetano's, which I grew up on all throughout my elementary and high school basketball playing days! Piccini's serves amazing pizza, pasta, and salads to go, and it is fast and convenient, yet unequivocally delicious! The menu is diverse and enticing, and you will find it hard to choose just one; which was the case, so we chose 5! We tried the following: the Bianca, Sweet Diavola, Prosciutto and Arugula, Anza Meatball, and The Classic. All were simply mouth-watering, and each one unique to its taste style. We will be back!

We heard about Piccini through a friend and we thought it was great. A large selection of pizzas (even a vegan one for the wife) and they were delicious. Dominos- step aside! We also got a salad and some meatballs and they were very nice. We called up to order and collected ourselves. They have curbside pickup too. The staff were very friendly and the interior was clean and tidy. We will definitely be back because I need to try all the other pizzas!

This spot has quickly become one of my go-to favorites in the South Bay. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care and it shows in every bite. Their pizza is next-level, with a rotating Pizza of the Month that’s always creative and mouthwatering. Think elevated, luxurious pizza but without the fuss.

Their pasta specials (when available) are equally impressive fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. And I have to say it… their chicken tenders are hands-down the BEST in the South Bay. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. No contest.

Orders are always ready in no time, making it the perfect pickup spot (since there’s no indoor seating). And to top it all off, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming every single time.

If you’re looking for high-quality, gourmet-style comfort food without the wait or the fuss this is the place....

We ordered delivery from here last week. We had the anza meatball pizza and the pear and pecan salad. The salad was fantastic. We both loved it and look forward to ordering it again. The pizza was also great. Wife and I agreed, they have the best crust of any pizza place we've tried in this area. Meatballs were great. Ricotta tasted fresh and wasn't overpowering the other ingredients. All around, all the ingredients were good quality. My only small issue was the amount of sauce on the pizza. Maybe it's a personal preference, but we prefer a bit more sauce. Next time I order, I'll ask for a bit more, or for some extra on the side. The packaging was well done. You can tell the owners want to make a good impression. They included a coupon for our next order which we look forward to...
