One Month (April 2023) Update:
As far as updates go, I can say my overall experience is mostly the same, but with some notable improvements. Fortunately the grand opening rush has calmed down, but customer activity is still prevalent. As soon as I show up at the drive thru alone, four more cars show up from behind. That didn’t seem to slow them down though.
[Ordering Experience] Over the course of the month, I’ve tried multiple methods of ordering Starbucks. Online order pick-up, drive thru, and walk-ins. Of all methods, Order completion is noticeably faster, though I still had the fastest experience via drive-thru (unsurprisingly).
[Buying experience] I also tested out all forms of payment ranging from Cash, Loose Change, Credit, Debit, Starbucks App, Gift Cards, and Apple Pay/Google Pay, all methods worked with no problems. One thing I found interesting was that I presented the barista with a fairly old Starbucks gift card back when Starbucks were giving out those personalized gold cards. To my surprise, the barista did not swipe the card, but instead punch in the numbers manually. I know the card works, but I found that rather interesting. It was a slow process, so I would suggest anyone with a gift card to just transfer it to the app, you also get double points that way.
[Best time to go] Mornings is where you would expect a rush, but a noticeable slowdown in customers would occur around 2-4PM which is for me the best time to get drinks/snacks.
[Taste] Drinks still taste consistent and their espresso based milks drinks still taste like what you’d expect from Starbucks. Even the milk is properly steamed to avoid overheating and curdling.
[Customer Service] As for issues, I would notice instances of incorrect orders and or complications in completing orders. As soon as there is a dissatisfaction, the baristas are quick to remedy the problem. I have personally seen customer issues resolved in seconds while I’m waiting for my drink on several occasions. Some instances can’t be helped, such as when they run out of a particular ingredient in a hand-crafted beverage, where they would resort to suggesting similar drinks to the customer. Usually it’s whipped cream, but other instances involved running out of a particular topping like shaved chocolate.
I have had an instance where I did not enjoy a particular drink, and one of the baristas surprisingly noticed and offered me a replacement. Good on the barista for noticing.
[Whats new] Due to the warmer weather as we’re now into the spring season, the outdoor portion of this location is now available as I have noticed they opened the window for orders of customers that choose to take advantage of the outdoor seating. I have yet to try this out, but will give it a try at some point.
[Customer Tips] Aside from the drive thru time mentioned above, I highly encourage using the smartphone App when ordering from Starbucks, not only you get points for a free drink down the road, you can also look ahead on the menu or even order ahead if you’re in a hurry.
[The following is the OLD original Review] Great first week so far for the new place. You gotta cut the new employees some slack given it’s literally their first week since the grand opening on March 3rd. I’m already seeing new employee faces every other day.
Food taste great, customer issues are fixed quickly, and the milk based coffee drinks didn’t taste like custard (this happens when you burn the milk when frothing).
Like most places, drive thru and Mobile orders takes precedence in most cases, so it’s not too much of a surprise if your order takes longer than usual if you’re dining in the lobby, especially with a rush of customers throughout the day.
You’re going to average about 5-15 mins for your order to be ready inside, but in my experience the drive thru is much faster as a person that has been there almost daily.
So 5-stars overall, but really work on finishing orders. Hopefully the rush of a new restaurant will eventually steady down.
I’ll update my review sometime later to see...

I've probably spend roughly 600 - $700 just this year in Starbucks alone; mainly because of the great service. Shannon, Joel and Seth are awesome, The other day, Shannon knew my order as I pulled up to the drive thru (Yes I'm that predictable)
Sadly today, I ordered my same highly predictable order, was charged the same amount, and was given the wrong size. When I noticed it and handed it back letting them know it was the wrong size, I was told "We all heard you say Grande" (I have literally never ordered that size)
Anyways, my point of this review is a simple Pro-tip: If it means pouring the already made drink into a larger cup and adding some hot milk, even THAT would be a better solution than telling the person who just paid $6 for a coffee that he doesn't remember what he said.
I will add, the three mentioned people above were not working, and I had never seen the person who took my order.
Im sure I'll be back, but for a company focused on the customer experience, ya might wanna work this into your training, bc it takes many times to gain a customer, and only one time...
Read moreReview: Well here doing another starbucks review 😉
I been going to this starbucks fairly recent, usually on the weekends and mainly when i'm working up in the torrington area.
Note: Not all my thoughts/opinions will be listed but just enough to get a point across thanks for you understanding.
Customer service: Costumer service is surprising nice.
Drinks: The drinks there are usually spot on and so far all is good.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere is straight forward and simple as with any starbucks.
Seating: The seating is as with any coffee shop if it gets busy it's hard to find seats and if it not as busy it is easy to find seats.
My Drink of choice: Black Tea Lemonade with Light Ice & 3 Liquid Sugars.
Final Thoughts: I been going to this starbucks rarely but when I do stop by it alright place tho parking lot suck in my opinion everything else so far is pretty good.
I'll probably stop by more in the future.. maybe... not sure time will tell 🤔
