Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Towamencin Township

Unbelievable. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes, I placed my order for a burrito and the girl behind the counter gave me the smallest scoop of chicken I’ve ever seen at any Chipotle. I was gonna say something, but I didn’t feel like getting charged extra or going back and forth because I was already super hungry. The rest of the toppings were also skimpy but especially the chicken. The whole burrito ended up being the smallest one I’ve ever gotten and it was wrapped so poorly which I’m confused about because there was barely anything in it!!

And then come to find out, while I was about to write my review, I see other reviews of people saying the EXACT same thing I was thinking… I knew I wasn’t crazy thinking that my portions were so small!! It’s a shame because this location is super convenient but I’m not coming back. I would rather take the drive all the way to Souderton or Montgomeryville honestly. My friend calls and says they are finally opened. My sons say they want chipotle. So I drive up there and it takes almost 10 mins driving around to park. When I walk inside i can’t believe how busy it is. There were 22 ppl in front of me to order. So with the kids in the car I’m in line 14 mins before an employee walks up and ask if I have an invite. Confused I asked what he meant. He tells me that they are only serving friends and family and that I can not place an order. Literally could not place an order. Got two kids in the car, drove up there, 10 mins to finally park, 14 mins in line just to be told we can’t order. What a waste of 35 mins just to have two kids cranky afterwards. I won’t do that again. Enjoy your friends and family money because this location will not be getting mine. Never heard of a friends and family only and not sure how often that will occur so you may want to call first to see if they will serve you if you aren’t a friend or...

I usually enjoy Chipotle, but today’s experience left me extremely disappointed. The portion I received was noticeably smaller than usual—not even close to what I’ve come to expect. On top of that, the staff rushed me through the line, barely giving me a chance to speak before they were already closing the lid on my bowl.

What concerned me most was the lack of cleanliness—one of the employees was wearing visibly dirty gloves while handling food. That’s unacceptable, especially in a food service environment.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I believe in holding businesses accountable for both food quality and hygiene. I hope this location takes customer feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.
