Las Fridas Mexican Kitchen Lansdale — Restaurant in Towamencin Township

Recent visit today : June 19th 2023 I always liked this place but for some reason this time wasn't good! My daughter ordered the fist tacos and they were black like (they need to change the oil) also ordered Pico de Gallo with chips and the Pico had pieces of ground beef, like wth it seems like they put it back from somewhere else 🤮! Also the waitress never came back to take my order... like she forgot COMPLETELY! So my bill was 37 dlls for Pico de Gallo, chips 2 drinks and the fist tacos! 🤐 I didn't mind the price it was just the food wasn't good this time and the service was bad!.. If I decide to give this place another chance I will update my review again... we'll see.. since there's a lot of more options for Mexican food around and they're opening more... ! That's all.😑

Horrible food! It’s a short step up from Taco Bell. Placed an order for a steak chimichanga, chorizo chimichanga, and Mexican corn. It was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. The chimichangas were soggy and barely anything inside. The chorizo had to be ground beef with chorizo artificial flavor added it, it did not taste or look like chorizo. The Mexican corn was sour and disgusting. The refried bean was so liquidity I thought it was soup, it was pure liquid with a total of 3 bean in a liquid mess. Nothing was edible, we ended up trashing the food and went somewhere else for dinner. So many better Mexican food options in the area. The people leaving positive reviews here obviously never had real authentic Mexican food. If you want real authentic Mexican food try El Tapatio in Lansdale or Frida's Mexican...

The food here is great and the portions are generous. It's in the space that used to be Yannis (RIP). Definitely has a mom and pop feel to it. It is not a fancy restaurant by any means, but the food is obviously freshly prepared and the staff is very nice. Definitely the best Mexican food in the area. I've had the burritos, the fajitas, the salads with grilled chicken, and the street tacos and they were all delicious. There is also some non-ethnic kids menu items for the picky kid eaters like grilled cheese. They even made my young daughter breakfast (Nutella Pancakes) at 3pm. They are new to the area, but I can't recommend them enough. They are exactly what this neighborhood needed. I wish them luck and I'll be...
