Two friends and myself walked in last night for a drink. There happened to be a 10 year high school reunion going on. My friends and I are quite a bit older but we decided to stay for one anyway. There was a couple standing next to us at the bar who looked to be roughly our age so my female friend said to the female of the couple "I guess this is where the older people sit." in a friendly manner since obviously we were the oldest people there in a sea of people in their late 20s. The woman had a perplexed look on her face and very rudely said "what did you say?" My friend just said never mind and turned away. 5 minutes later, a man approaches me and asks if we were with the reunion. I told him no we just came for a drink. Its not like we snuck in and stole drinks, we walked in the front door and the bartender served us. He said he is the owner and someone said something to his wife and he wants us to leave now.    Read moreNice neighborhood bar and restaurant serving comfort food, excellently prepared, that hit the spot. They have a good wine and beer selection and also offer live music. Be sure and call ahead for reservations if you're coming for the music as it tends to fill up fast. It's a great overall atmosphere made even better, the night we went, by the Chris Brown Band playing 60's and 70's classics along with several original compositions. We've been back a few times and sampled several menu offerings. Definitely order the Nacho platter if you're sharing an app. We've enjoyed the Cobb Salad, The French Dip with sweet potato fries, the Atlantic Salmon and their signature Five Napkin Burger. Everything so far has been a good choice. The wait staff is friendly and attentive and the food comes promptly. This place is definitrly...
Read moreMy daughter and I are always looking for new experiences and new restaurant venues. We arrived at Wellington’s grill and were very pleasantly surprised. Our waitress Sharon was a wonderful host and made sure we were comfortable and immediately assisted us with great cocktails. We then ordered the special of the day (prime rib night) and it was delicious, cooked to perfection and it came with vegetables, baked potato. Oh and before we ordered steamed clams as an appetizer. All was a wonderful experience and we’re looking forward to going back. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt appreciated and welcome. See you soon...
