This place is going to be tough to review because there were positives and negatives... I had to average them out and give 3 stars. The atmosphere is dark and uninviting. The menu is expansive which for some that may be great because they offer so many items, but for others it just makes it confusing. Service was fine. Nothing spectacular. So here is where it gets wonky... The food tastes great! Just very poorly executed. We ordered the Don Tequila dip (cheese dip with meat and pico). The flavor way really good but it was the consistency of a brothy soup. You couldn't even pick it up with the chips because it was so soupy. I ordered the shrimp nachos which again tasted great but made no sense at all. First the shrimp were huge, which is great typically, but not for nachos. They should have been smaller or chopped up some. Also, they had the tails on them still. What? Now I have to de-tail each of the shrimp before eating? And these are nachos remember. Nachos are meant to be picked up and just eaten as is. You shouldn't have to pick things apart from them first. Also the peppers and onions were massive, just like the shrimp, so they should have been cut way smaller. But again, the flavors were delicious! I would say had the shrimp and peppers and onions been on a fajita platter, this whole thing would have made perfect sense, just not for nachos . Margaritas were pretty decent. So atmosphere gets a thumbs down, flavor of food gets a thumbs up, execution gets a double thumbs down.

Recommend this place based on the food! Chimichangas were better than we’ve had elsewhere and the chicken appeared to be all white meat, which we prefer. Monday’s and Tuesday’s are $1.99 Margaritas but we didn’t know until after we ordered and received virgin Margarita’s for double the price. Our server was friendly but very busy; we managed to chase after her for refills, etc. and she was very nice about it. Vegan options available. Decor is fun, washrooms needed some attention but it was, admittedly, closing time when we left. They do close early so check their website for their hours, and ask about drink/food specials before you order as wasn’t posted very clearly. We also didn’t see a sign out front of the restaurant as we drove by it a few times before finding it. Would return if ever in the area again!

Used to like going here… never again. Ordered a chili Relano dinner and burritos and chicken fajita to go. The chicken fajita was so burnt it was not edible. There was no pepper in the chilli relano dinner, only lettuce tomato beans and rice.

The service is terrible. Server gave no straws, no refills, left us with a spilled water that my daughter accidentally knocked over all over table. Gave a wet rag to us to clean it ourselves the rag was soaked in cleaner than stunk strongly like chlorine. No extra napkins, never checked back or replaced water. We had to eat with water floating all over table and running off onto our laps. Appetizer came out with meal. Couldn’t get her to come back for a to go box or the check. No refill on chips so the queso was wasted. Ordered chicken quesadillas but was served a cheese quesadillas. Menu pricing not consistent with order total. Food was mediocre, but as expected for this area, definitely not the biggest problem. Server was perhaps worst I’ve ever experienced. Missing, not observant, not friendly, not helpful. ...
