I am usually super impressed and love Mangia's. Today I am very sadded by the cost and quality I received. I ordered the fried dough bites for 2 elementary classes working about a block away- after a $ 7.00 delivery fee that was scribbled out on the receipt but still added to the total but then another line was added by hand for tip- getting the treat cost me $12.00- twice the price of an order of the dough. An afternoon order of pizza was delivered to the school for an afterschool group (after they had agreed to take off the delivery fee and I could pay the tip in cash), the group did not eat the 23 1/2 cookies that arrives because many of them were burned. Just disappointed- 3/$2.75-- $22.00 for 2 dozen cookies (2 1/2 " across). See picture. Wow-- do I feel cheated! Trying to do something extra for my students- lesson learned. Be cautious-- Not what it used to be!!

We're from out of state and we're hoping to find some NY style pizza while here. Lots of mixed reviews, but more good than anything, so decided to try this place out. It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall, and the service was lax at best, but we ordered 2 12" pizzas at the counter and had fresh pies in 15-20 mins. Was skeptical at seeing the slices in the display case, but the fresh pizza we got was absolutely delicious! Perfect crust, the right amount of crispy on the bottom, and minimal grease, despite me getting sausage, bacon, and mushrooms. Not too much sauce, and very melty cheese. The flavor was awesome, and altogether just what I was hoping for in a NY style pizza! Ate half of each of them before remembering to snap a pic lol. Would definitely come back in future visits.

This is the 3rd time I've gotten pizza slices at Mangia's in the last month, and I have to say that they are consistently AMAZING! Just look at the pic I've attached: I included part of my hand for you to be able to have some perspective on just how HUGE their slices are! Forget the other local pizza joints and make Mangia your go-to place for pizza!

Dont get me wrong the only issue we have ever really had with this place is lack of delivery availability in the past but the events today should be known so others know what they may experience. My girlfriend placed a carryout order at 5:32pm today, was told it would be ready in about 45 minutes. I arrived at 6:15pm to pick up food and was told it would be 10-15 minutes which is totally understandable, but was not the case. I finally recieved the food at 7:05 pm so a little more than an hour and a half after ordering. We don't usually complain but The music in the building was very loud and not very customer friendly which you could HEAR CLEARLY OUTSIDE THE BUSINESS.the chicken sandwiches didn't not come with the pasta salad like they were supposed to plus the sandwiches looked like they were thrown poorly together. We were offered a cookie and a coke for our wait.. seems like the owner could take some time and maybe find people to hire or have more than 1 or 2 people scheduled in one of if not the the busiest pizza shops in the area, especially located in a college town. We don't want to talk badly about the workers that CLEARLY ARE TRYING TO DO THE BEST THEY CAN FOR WHAT THEY ARE GIVEN TO WORK WITH AS WELL AS WHO THEY WORK FOR. It's not surprising why they have been losing...

My husband and I have loved Mangia's for over 20 years. I'm a Alumni of Bonaventure and we live about 40 mins away. Tonight was the worst customer service we have ever received. I called and placed an order, was told 20 mins, I arrived about a half hour later and was told it would be 5 mins. This has happened before and I've brushed it off because we LOVE their food. Well, finally after waiting a half hour, I asked how much longer.. that I had called over an hour ago and was told 20 mins. (At this point my husband came inside to see what was taking so long) I was quickly replied to with a snarky "I'm the only cook here and you're the only person who has complained."-- My husband told them they needed to work on their time management. If we had been told it was going to take over an hour for our order, we would have simply not made the trip in the shitty weather. Needless to say it ended with us being offered a free 2 liter and some nasty comments about never returning there....

We love Mangia pizza. But this week was the first time we tried their wings. We decided on the breaded wings. Wow! They hit it out of the park. These wings were amazing. First of all, their price per wing was cheaper than most of their competition for both Buffalo wings and breaded wings. I think they might hand bread them themselves - not sure but the breading was delicious & different from all the other breaded wings around (def not just frozen Wingdings). The sauce was a little different than we’re used to but on point. The flavor was unique and amazing. But the pièce de ré·sis·tance was the size. These bad boys were monsters. Biggest wings I’ve had anywhere local in a long long time. They were not quite as crispy as we like but that is to be expected on a to-go order. They were the bomb!! We also had a regular pizza and their spicy Italian pizza. Both were delicious & cooked to...
