Silo Bakery — Restaurant in Town of Amenia

While passing through the area and in need of breakfast, we ended up stopping here. There were lots of good looking options to choose from. We each had a breakfast sandwich and split a blueberry muffin. The muffin was pretty good. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. It was ok. I found it odd that the sandwiches are premade and they heat them up. After it was reheated and when I received it, the cheese was stuck to the wrapper and the bottom of the bread was kind of oily. The prices at this place are a little high - maybe it is normal for the area? The staff members were friendly and they seemed very busy while I was there, as there was a steady stream of people. There is parking on the street. I found a spot, but when I signaled and stopped, I was aggressively passed - the second vehicle (lunatic) apparently felt compelled to lay into their horn… I am not sure if this is also typical...

I worked at this location when it was a design shop, it looks great , now . The baked goods I had have all been excellent , so far. My only critique is that although it wasn’t that busy, it literally took 15-20 mins before I was waited on, and I did ask the young cashier , she ended up waiting on me bc the heavy set girl waiting on others that came in...

Yummy yummy yummy 😋, treats for all taste buds! From chocolate crossiants to egg & cheese sandwiches on a brioche bun and everything in between. The espresso is good along with the matching drinks ( hot or cold). You just need to come check it out! Plenty of seating for all, and coloring...
