VERY worthy successor to Ziggy's! I was hoping something would replace it for a while and it seems my prayers were answered. The setting is very clean, the ambience relatively classy (compared to Ziggy's, with its arcade machines and general air of being an 'everyman's' restaurant), while it is a casual place, you don't need to dress like you're spending $100 on steaks.

That said, the most important thing--the food--isn't cheap, it definitely caters to a higher income level than Ziggy's did. My piega, side of bread, and cookies cost over 30 dollars after tips. Still, I'd say its worth it, in the best Italian tradition the incredients are VERY fresh and the piega itself was EXCELLENT. Delicious, savory, and dripping with goodness. Since this place is so conveniently located and seems to be just what the neighborhood needed, I'm gonna drop in a lot more from now on, most likely--since I can afford it,...

We found this place while up in Buffalo for my son’s college graduation… The space was inviting with a warm friendly staff, and a nice open kitchen. The food was extremely fresh, and very unique. The chop-chop salad was so tasty, and I’m going back to have it again! We were blown away by the sandwiches here! The homemade dough, Piega, shaped like Indian naan, was light, fluffy, and incredibly tasty — unlike anything we’ve had before. The freshness of the ingredients really stood out in every bite.

My husband had the arugula, fig, and goat cheese sandwich, which was a perfect balance of sweet, creamy, and savory. I went with the fresh mozzarella and pepperoni — a bold, flavorful combo that I can’t stop thinking about. Our sons each had the Chick-a-Di sandwich, and they loved it too. Every sandwich was unique and packed with flavor. This place...

THIS PLACE WAS SO NEEDED! I love supporting local restaurants. Artusi is authentic, new, detail oriented and the food is simply amazing. Flavor profile is 10/10. Their piegas combine the wood fired pizza flavor (my favorite) and filling it with artisanal flavors! It’s elevated and full of flavor.

The drinks are delicious and unique as well! They also serve coffee and a selection of wines and alcoholic beverages.

My family and I visited. I had the chick a d and so did my family member. We both LOVED IT! I had saved the second half for the next day’s lunch, which was really hard to save! I wanted to eat myself full lol and so will you!

I love when a company is true to their roots and that is exactly what this Italian restaurant does!

10/10 for everything and...

Quaint modern cafe in a prime location. Stopped in for lunch and would visit again. Their piega sandwiches are incredible, mixing the Buffalo love for pizza dough and sandwiches. Fresh ingredients folded into a Naples style dough. We had the First and the Italian. Absolutely delicious. Order at the counter, grab a can or bottled drink, beer or glass of wine, and seat yourself. Enjoy! Interested in making reservations for their Hidden Kitchen which is a Thursday to Saturday weekly dinner menu. Reservations only for the experience.
