Were to start this review... This is the worst restaurant i've been to. To start, we had to wait for 20 minutes for the waiter to come see us at the table. After that, we waited 45 minutes for us to have to complain at the waiter because we didn't get our drinks and water. The waiter only brought 1 water even if we asked for both of us and 2 beers when we asked for a jug. 15 minutes later the waiter asked us what did we order to eat AGAIN, he didn't punch our order the first time when he asked us what we wanted so we had to wait an additionnal 15 minutes to receive our plates... The appetizer and main plate at the same time, the waiter brought me the wrong plate with the wrong sauce. I asked a staff member for buffallo sauce but she never brought it. I ate the plate because i didn't wan't to wait any longer to eat.. We were patient because we knew the waiter was alone for the dining area excluding the bar, but patience has a limit.. We wanted to complain to the manager, but the manager didn't seem to know what he was doing or what was his job. He ignored us when he passed by our table, we were so mad of everything done wrong in this restaurant that we just asked the bill to get out of there. We saw a few customers that had the same experience as us, they also needed to go and intercept the waiter to have some service. The waiter didn't do the job he is supposed to do : no water refill, no asking if the food is okay, no service at all at this point. This restaurant doesn't seem managed at all. The worst experience i had at a restaurant in my life... The fact that it is associated with the Mariott seemed like a good option at first sight. I would of gave 0 stars if possible. Avoid...
Read moreNO LIQUOR LICENSE AT THIS RESTAURANT! So my fiancé and I were looking to do something for our 3 year anniversary. We are college students so we couldn't afford a hotel package at Salvatore's, so we opted for the Marriott and their restaurant instead. We walked to the grill, someone had their small dog (who wouldn't stop yapping) on a leash, IN THE RESTAURANT. This dog was obviously not a service dog and had no place being there. The place was completely empty, and when we asked for a table, one of the many employees standing around asked us to please sit at the bar instead. I insisted on a table. Our server sat us down and I could tell he was very embarrassed. He informed us that he could not serve alcohol tonight because the restaurant had lost their liquor license. This information was not listed anywhere on the Marriotts website or the restaurants website. The server was kind enough to offer us a free soda but we obviously did not stay for the food. While I was on the phone with the marriott making my $200 hotel reservation, I mentioned that their business was a much better deal than Salvatore's. NOT ONCE did the hotel mention they had lost their liquor license. As you can probably imagine, I am very upset by this and I will be giving the hotel itself a 1...
Read moreBarry the food and beverage manager was amazing. First off, he drove the shuttle van for Marriott because they needed a driver, so he took time out of his busy schedule at the restaurant to drive the van. He showed up to the airport to pickup a guest and he saw us sitting there waiting on our shuttle with a baby. He asked what hotel we were at and it ended up that our hotel (double tree) was right next to the Marriott that he works at. He waited with us for 25 minutes and then told us to hop in since he didn’t want us waiting with a baby. He dropped us at the double tree and told us to come try out his restaurant at the Marriott across the parking lot and that the first round was on him. We got there for dinner and the unlimited soup and salad bar was amazing, the steaks were phenomenal and we are Nebraskans so steak is our living here. Service was impeccable and the drinks were fantastic. What a hidden gem even for locals. Needless to say, next time I will be staying at...
