Saw this little Restaurant,in our travels, Decided to stop and check it out.
Nestled in-between a few other small restaurants/Dinning spots. Locally tucked in a college area.
First off ,I guess to our mistake we came in the back door, we did see a tiny sign that said ,front door with a arrow , but we were greeted friendly and , showed a place to sit . (Observed more customers, come in the same way ?) outside signature bit confusing.
We ordered the eggs over crepes with potatoes and asparagus, with hollandaise sauce. The eggs were actually cooked correctly, the asparagus was soft and tender, wish there some lemon on the side, and the potatoes were fine Added my own pepper and salt . A tiny half slice of Orange and bite of pineapple and half of a strawberry? Leaving you a desire, for at least a whole strawberry and a slice of pineapple, and slice of Orange. Seriously, was lacking, Plus the mueu should state the pineapple for allergies, for people with nut tree allergies. Also Ordered, The local Eggs breakfast ,eggs over easy cooked okay , potatoes, two slices of Bacon, and asked for a English muffin, which was large , sandwich style. Side of fruit, again like once again a bite on a fork size ? All together it was 44.00 and change
Just a breakfast, the waitress was very professional and very gentle with our order , girl needs a raise
Artwork on walls ,some nice and some outdated, walls could use a coat of paint,as you can see large portions of paint scratch off, due to probably alot of college guests, and hotel guests from the hotel behind them.
The bathroom is extremely outdated, toilet was functioning, but old looked like in need of repair. Bathroom needs a deep cleaning, (not saying the floors were dirty) Just old and dusty and the appeal to put duct tape on the tiles to change the color was ,cheap like. No ! Bathroom paper towels and soap not wheelchair accessible.
Please don't put tables and chairs ,for customer to eat ,outside the bathroom doors, that's just not appealing nor sanitary.
Over all I give the food a four, stars. The waitress five, stars. The over all place three, stars. The bathroom ,one star. Needs some Paint, A bathroom overhaul, and to Rethink the back of the restaurant seating , maybe some new tables and chairs.

Read moreWe've been here a few times and it really matters what time you go for a better experience. We were in about an hour and a half before closing which normally shouldn't be an issue. They may have been having an off day, however everything about the day inside didn't seem right.
The service was very poor. There were 3 tables with two waiters/waitresses and our waitress had just one other table. 10 mins to get a water and some menus. Another 15 to order. Food came out in decent time however not together. Waitress was present sometimes but on her phone often.
My son's pancakes were burnt. Didn't get any syrup and didn't see her again for 20 mins to get any. They ran out of the regular bread for French toast so my wife's french toast was more soggy. I had the corned beef hash which was OK but nothing like normal. Liquidity with watery eggs in it. When I mentioned food came out not together, I received my toast and my wife's sausage links after the 20 mins I mentioned.
Add on extra time to get the check, more for taking the payment... And the best part was the waitress didn't give me my card back. We were so fed up at that point that we just wanted to get out.
After leaving, I noticed I didn't have my card and called. No answer (been closed for 10 mins at this point). Took a ride back about 20 mins later and they were gone. Understandable. Called in the morning to ask about my card and they said they would call me back and let me know. I ended up just going there after an hour because they didn't call. In there at 9AM and the person said I'm sorry but I cannot open the register to see if your card is there because the waitress isn't in yet. I commented back about how they have customers in then and I just want to card to leave. I waited 15 minutes in my car, they called and gave me my card back.

Read moreWe decided to try the three-egg omelette options, choosing the Greek variation with spinach, tomatoes, red onion, and feta cheese, as well as the Florentine. Along with the food, we ordered both iced coffee and the original blend coffee. Unfortunately, the meal left a lot to be desired.
To start, the omelette itself was bland and poorly seasoned, with the Greek version severely lacking salt. The vegetables inside felt like an afterthought—underwhelming, and they seemed to have been hastily sautéed in oil without much care for flavor or texture. The entire dish felt disjointed, as though the ingredients were just tossed together without any harmony. According to the menu, the omelette was supposed to come with a side of fruit, but what we received could barely be called a serving: half a strawberry, a tiny piece of pineapple, and a single slice of orange. It was almost laughable.
The side of potatoes was also a major disappointment. They were undercooked and completely flavorless, lacking any seasoning or crispiness that might have saved them. In fact, I left them untouched because they were simply inedible.
As for the beverages, the original blend coffee had an odd sweetness that didn’t belong, almost as if something had gone wrong with the brewing process. It wasn’t the robust, comforting cup of coffee I had expected. The iced coffee was no better—practically 80% ice, with very little actual coffee to enjoy.
The service, while polite, was notably slow. It took quite a while to get our food and drinks, which only added to the disappointment of the experience.
Overall, I cannot recommend this place. Between the lackluster food, strange-tasting coffee, and slow service, it’s safe to say that this was one meal I won’t be repeating...
