Although the servers are friendly and the place is spacious, I don't think the food is of great quality. Then again, I am vegetarian and there are not many veg options on the menu. They do offer a black bean burger but I've had better. (Anderson's on Sheridan has the best.) The burger was too spicy, as if the restaurant thinks vegetarian food has little taste. But my biggest gripe is about their home fries. They don't even resemble home fries (they're more like disks), and I feel they're too greasy. Not cooked enough. Not much of a choice of teas. Herbal would be a nice addition. The spanakopita is good, depending on who prepares it. Orange juice is fresh squeezed and probably the best thing on the menu. The pita bread is not authentic Greek pita bread. It's more like a cheap, store bought pita. Very disappointing. I can't comment on the majority of the dishes because I am veggie as previously stated. If you're looking for great quality Greek food and you're a vegetarian, my advice is to skip this place. My one star is for the great service and the fresh squeezed...
Read moreNot sure why this restaurant has 4.3 stars it is definitely not worth it. First of all, our waitress was moving so fast she couldn’t stop to answer the question she asked. She asked was everything OK then turned around and walked away. I ordered a chicken Souvlaki wrap. I was given a raw taco shell with over cooked, hard, chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, and the scraps of the onion. I had to ask waitress for feta cheese, and tzatziki or dill, she was a little annoyed, and had someone else bring it to the table. I thought that came with it. When I went to cash out, the lady with the black and white checkered shirt, and the blonde and burgundy hair was very annoyed. It appeared she didn’t want to work there. She was very short and agitated in her responses. Needless to say, I would never come back there, nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone. The waitress and hostess were rude and the food was terrible. Of note, I don’t need your rude responses about how people love this restaurant. The food is pathetic...
Read moreHavent been here in approximately 10 yrs. Food is still tasty. Nice atmosphere...needs music...more plants and flowers...my particular taste of course. Atmosphere is very important to me anywhere and everywhere I patronize. Items can be forgotten at times but; when you have to remind your waitress 3xs, it's unnacceptable. I was a waitress as a young college student and learned/was taught how to properly do the job, from remembering everything that was ordered and to the customer in a timely manner. I was introduced to waitressing at my first job by a Greek employer at at a hotdog joint known as TAKI'S TEXAS RED HOTS On the west side of Buffalo in 1978. It stuck with me and those expectations followed with me to other establishments. Now adays...even manners have become a lacking commodity. Its sad. And if i owned a restaurant, training would be only the best. No one should ever need to be reprimanded by how a customer...
