Nana's Village Restaurant & Catering — Restaurant in Town of Arcadia

It's been a little bit since I have been able to dine here but the food is fantastic; I mean the breakfast, lunch, dinner, and they also cater for part of my fraternity every winter not a bad thing to say there at all. My favorite is thier seafood bisque and they used to have fried cheese curds, out of this world. Only reason I gave them four stars is sometimes the staff seems to forget they are working at a resturant and feel like their at home so the conduct is a bit less than professional; now I personally have no problem with it I enjoy the atmosphere it feels like Newark to me but it may rub many the wrong way so I have to "star"...

Feburary 8, 2019 as black man and a military veteran I went in the restuarant there wasn't anyone around so I stood where I could be seen, when an older lady seen me standing in the dining area she told another individual there was a black man standing out there waiting not knowing I heard her say that. So I waited until the other individual came out to address me and I told her what I heard, she then proceeds to tell me she has mixed kids and she doesn't like when that's being said either. My thing is you didn't make the situation or me feel better about what was said by you...

CAUTION Food is ok but the customer service is an abomination! The owner is one of the most unprofessional and rude individuals I've ever met in the food service business. I'm actually shocked that someone who treats their clients so poorly can stay in business! I'd have to strongly recommend you stay away from this company, there are far better companies out there that will treat you like the valued customer...
