Emma's Deli — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

I've been going to the Deli for few years now letting certain things slide but one day I entered into the deli and ordered my food. I asked her to double check it because I know how they always mess up. Well she did mess up. I asked for egg whites they gave me yellow eggs fighting with me that they are egg whites egg whites are the color white, not yellow, so I left the food. I ask for my money back, and I never ever returned nor will I ever and I was a big customer every day customer . decent food I think over priced but the food is not even the issue anymore. The few young girls up in the front are the most nastiest and rudest workers I've ever experienced and I have work, and I still continue to work in the industry of serving food in restaurants, and I would never allow my employees to talk and miss treat the patrons that way I see these young girls doing he needs to get rid of them because I know I'm not the only one that says it . they all walk around with a nasty look on their face very condescending the way they talk to her was you and they grab your money rudely !!!!!! I overlooked a lot of things because the place is clean but...

Emma's food has always been 5 star, but after the original owner left..the new one had different cleanliness standards. Now the location is pristine. The food remains a 5, I would like the owner to crack a smile and let his staff work without so much palpable scrutiny. I hope the new location helps. This is a edit dated 9/28/2018. Friday at lunchtime. My son and I placed a order for a variety of things-cold cuts, sandwiches, hot food, packaged products. All the employees were organized, working together, super nice. The boss has relaxed and let his staff do what they were hired. I ordered egg salad on rye(a creamy delight; mac and cheese( better than Mom's); 2 containers of watermelon(decently priced for this time of year); a Cobb salad- with sliced eggs, crumbled bleu cheese, bacon, lettuce leaves( just fantastic- you should try their boxed meals and pies! Coconut custard, spiced pumpkin, Tiramisu(my personal favorite).You get the idea. It 's right near the best little neighborhood liquor store in North Babylon. But that's another story. Just go to...

I have been coming here for years! This place is EXCELLENT!!! Countless food and drink choices: I have had plenty of different dishes here and each time I do they immediately host where my favorite French toast, eggs, salad, panini, sandwich etc. The quality of the food is on point and NEVER messed up an order. I work in Babylon and drive 10-15 min here during my lunch break as often as I can. The service is quick, swift, and effective. Emma’s deli is not your average deli. This clean, bright, tastefully decorated place is inviting and all the locals come here. This family owned business is unique due to the hours of hard work they put in.
