I’m a nobody but to a business the customer is everything and they are doing a fantastic job, focused on putting the best product out there. Good job guys. Was told about all the hype on social media so gave it a try. Bought a regular pie, because that’s in my opinion the foundation to a good pizzeria. With that bought knots, couple grandma slices and chicken bacon ranch slice. The regular pie was very good. The crust has great flavor and nice and thin but lacked crisp, the cheese is a good quality cheese and sauce on the pie was good. It was a bit oily but that doesn’t bother me, flavor was very good and would order again for sure. Grandma pies are a favorite in my house, but I was a bit disappointed. Crust on the grandma was very good, cheese good, but the sauce lacked traditional flavors. Virtually no taste of garlic or fresh basil even though there was some fresh basil sprinkled on top.
The chicken bacon ranch was one of the best I’ve Ever had, top three for sure. Not too much ranch and you can actually taste the chicken without it being overwhelmed with the other notably strong flavors. The chicken was also fine diced, about 1/4in cubes making it easy to eat.
The garlic knots were good. I’m no bread expert, I’ve had better and I’ve had worse and couldn’t tell you how to make the perfectly squishy garlicy cheesy knot without it being a sponge of oil. They were airy and light, I liked that they were not overwhelmed with garlic and oil but at the same time, could have used some more garlic and Parmesan.
All in all, I would go back but wouldn’t order the grandma unless they adjusted the recipe. The Marinara was good, but for the purpose of a grandma pie, needs to be less heavy/thick and the pie needs a more garlic and basil flavor.
These guys just opened, and all good chefs continue to challenge themselves, I’m sure they are listening to what all people are saying to make themselves a staple in the community. We were told 45 minutes at ordering & the driver called an hour later not able to find our apartment but the it became a problem because did not speak or understand a word of English for me to guide him.
