A little history - Ive been one of the first customers of Shah’s cart when it first established in Queens on 121st & Liberty ave in Early 2000’s . Shah’s Halal food was the first and only Halal food cart in all of Queens. I was there during this era and I saw for myself competitors started popping up in nearby locations. I was still in High School around this time and the food started becoming popular after the Halal Guys cart next to Hilton in the city started exploding. Shah was and still is the best in the area and now to my surprise, worldwide. Im a proud customer and Im even more proud of the owners who exploded this business worldwide. Today 7/06/2024 , a serving of Chicken over rice is $8 with a free drink. Quality and Quantity has always been consistent

Shahs Lindenhurst - I live within a mile from this Location and because of the lack of consistency of this location vs the other locations is definitely a bummer for me . My entire home does not mind eating Shahs several times a week but we have opted to not go to this location whenever we want Shahs. We would have to drive to Shahs in Bellemore or Wantagh because we know what we’ll get there. That’s a 20 min drive that no one wants to do when they’re hungry. So the things that I don’t like about this location vs other locations

1. Quantity is very skimpy
2. Pale soupy chicken ( taste is there but not sure why it looks so watered down and pale. My guess is that it’s covered on a steam table)
3. Price - Price is $9.99 w no drink or discount for cash payers. Cash payers still pay tax. Most other locations acknowledge your cash payment and give free drink and charge no tax
4. Server - that Blonde server needs very specific training from whoever manages the Shahs locations. She seems a bit lost and I believe that she can at least serve appropriate portions and secondly work on customer relations.

As it concerns me I just want my food and Im out . I don’t need someone to play a violin over my head while serving me and neither do I need a table set with white cloth and candles lit for atmosphere to be 5 star. People don’t understand and see how the Shahs owner is simply trying to open accessible locations in our area. To all you new customers, a new customer is anyone who has never been to the original location. The original Shahs is a roadside cart that was obviously designed to buy and eat curbside or take home. *HONEST REVIEW In my opinion, The best spot on Long Island. This place has improved so much throughout the years, the portions are great, the service is great, and the kindness everyone at this place has is amazing. Was skeptical at first coming here due to it being located in a gas station, but I can assure you this place is cleaner than most food spots/restaurants on the island. The owner takes real good care of this place it’s astonishing!!! I prefer everyone to get double meat because this place is very lenient towards portion size even though the SHAHS FRANCHISE is extremely strict with portions. And the gas prices and A lot of misleading reviews on here but hey, can’t please everyone 😂. I actually love going to get food here , the food is always fresh and the price is always reasonable plus they have these sales too. There is a place to sit down to eat and the parking is good. The two ladies that work there are very nice , the older Spanish lady is great she is always with a smile and takes her time to listen to what your needs are and she definitely can put a smile on someone's face. I had a issue with a girl that was working there yet the owners told me she no longer has a full time position there and the Spanish lady said she isnt really there anymore. They did give me a free meal for the inconvenience and i greatly appreciate that and i will continue to give my service to them and let others know this is the spot to go for halal food Thank you again for all ur hard...
