Infinity Diner — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

After years of considering this my family diner. Never again will my family go there. Tonight I ordered food and they forgot the salad and gave us fries instead. I called to let them know about the mistake. Note: this was Not the first time we got the wrong food delivered or missing food we paid for. They normally make good on my next order and apologize. Tonight things changed. Jerry the owners son was extremely rude. He told me he doesn’t want to hear my complaint. They are doing the best they can and he reviews all the orders. Jerry told me my order was full of demands. I said demands??? All I asked for was to please make my steak medium rare. Please add cheese on my steak not on the fries. I said please make my fries well done and thousand island dressing on the side. Wow I didn’t know I couldn’t tell a diner all if a sudden how I would like my meal prepared. I am a paying customer. Jerry told me that I should go to another diner to eat. If this is how Jerry treats there customers I am surprised they are still in business. I feel sorry for his father Tony (owner) and Mike (the brother). Even though their prices are high we always appreciated going there till now. Thank you Jerry for telling me to go eat elsewhere. I would be surprised how many other customers he said that to. Jerry needs to learn in an establishment like a diner or actually in any business when a customer is unhappy you need to fix the problems. Not tell a customer to go elsewhere. I will and my family will never again...

This diner was sold and is under new ownership. If you are a regular there like we were, you will definitly notice the spiral down in the food. It is very sad to see. The former owners really cared about their diner, their food and their customers experiences. These owners only care about how much money they can make and how they can push out cheap food pre-bought food at high prices. Other reviews posted within the last few months can only be from people being paid to give good reviews and push up their overall online rating. They are not honest reviews, so be aware of this.

Examples of clear changes that regular customers will see...

1. coleslaw used to be homemade...Now it is the restaurant depot type stuff.

2. burger buns are consistently stale

3. spinach pie is no longer homemade and taste like lots of fillers have been added. Very very bad in comparison to how it used to be.

4. Take out no longer consistently provides napkins or utensils or even asks customers if they want it.

5. bacon is like rubber.

I can go on, but I will stop here.

I hope if the current owners read this, they will think about this and change it back to the way the restaurant was run for years. If you don't... no matter how many people you pay to give you good reviews, in a year or 2, you will close due to everyone in the neighborhood seeing what has been done...

I just came from “eating here” I heard their breakfast food was good so I figured I’d give the dinner food a try. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, first off they gave us soup that was so bland no flavoring. For appetizer we had mozzarella sticks with “marinara” sauce, IT WAS WARMED UP TOMATO SAUCE YES LIKE SPAGHETTI SAUCE. Then my partner had penne le vodka with shrimp I’m being honest when I say it looked like the most bland pasta I’ve ever seen and it had no flavoring. Not to mention the portion size of it looked like it could feed 4 people, even the waiter told us it never gets finished by anyone. I had a chicken blt with fries I was keeping it simple it wasn’t all that bad but I definitely had better. All the food for $60 I could of made better pasta at home what a shame and the icing of the aweful cake was that we’re currently still in a pandemic and this is the first and I hope only place that they didn’t even think 6 feet apart was important to consider. We were both so uncomfortable because all the booths were taken none were closed off for safety measures. I’m so disappointed I want to let my community know and keep this in mind if you want to come eat here. I for one will definitely not be coming back. I’m so confused by these 5 star ratings it truly was not even close to the best restaurant...
