West Babylon Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

Ordered online at 10:25am via their DoorDash link, but picked it up myself.

Order was to be ready at 10:50am. I arrived at 11:00am, and the order wasn’t on the counter. I waited 5mins and then inquired where my order was.

The staff member had it in their pocket, not being processed. So I had to WAIT an additional 20 mins for my 5 breakfasts to be filled. Which one of the sandwiches I ordered was on a bagel and not on a roll as requested. I wasn’t going back to complain. I don’t live around the corner.

I had requested a manager but the claim was, “we are too busy.” REALLY?! A regular customer dissatisfied with service requesting a manager and you are two busy?! I had requested 6 plain bagels for the inconvenience, and was denied.

Ok, no problem. Time to fine a new bagel place.

I have visited this bagel shop many times over the years because the egg sandwiches are delicious when they get the order correct. On my last 6 visits, 3 of the orders have been wrong which we don't know until we drive away. On my visit last week, I called in 2 egg sandwiches and I hadn't check them until I got home and both were wrong. I asked for 2 egg sandwiches on a roll with bacon and cheese. One sandwich was on an everything bagel and one sandwich was on a roll but had no cheese or bacon. Although, I am sure I paid for both the cheese and bacon.

Come on folks, these are not difficult orders...

Place isn't much. There isn't any seating or anything like that. It's your basic deli - walk in, order, get your stuff, and leave.

The quality of food is excellent and the bagels are really great! The staff are super friendly and are overall just great! No matter the time you walk in, 5am or 2pm, they're bright, cheerful, and happy to help you. They have a great selection of beverages, from fresh-brewed coffee and teas, to bottled beverages, like Snapple, Gatorade, Coke, Pepsi, and Arizona. I would definitely recommend you...
