We were very disappointed by our server on our visit yesterday. I believe her name was Miranda or something similar. First, we never got our free chips and salsa as reward members and it took forever for her to come back so we could ask for it (we had already placed our orders). When my meal came out I specifically asked for it to not have the butter on the steak and when she came out she let me know it was there and acted like it wasn’t a big deal, she did ask if I wanted them to throw a new one on and I declined as I wanted to eat with my family and I had my two year old twins with me who wee getting antsy. I orderd a medium steak and my husband ordered a rare butger, mine came out well done his came out with only a little pink. Then when she took our dessert orders I first ordered my children the small molten lava cake and then my husband said he was going to get the cookie so I told her to forget the cake and she still bright it out and I had to pay for it. I had gift cards they were in a sealed envelopes for $60. The bill was $53 so I gave her all my cards ($5/each) except for one. She came back stating we had a balance and I explained I had given her $55 she said I only gave her fifty. I counted it in front of my husband before giving it to her I’m positive it was $55 so somewhere from me giving it to her to her station she lost one card. I gave her the other $5 card and gave her a less than 10% tip as there was a $3 balance on the card that she felt she didn’t have to give us. We got up and left annoyed. During the course of our meal she continued to put food and drinks in the reach of our twins causing them to grab and drop numerous things, one almost being a very hot plate. That was extremely frustrating. Really unhappy...
Read moreWe came to Chili's for father's day dinner, upon arriving there were maybe 6 other tables so it wasn't too busy. Our waitress took our drink & food order together. After about 15 minutes I had to go find someone to ask about our drinks a few minutes our waitress returned & apologized & said the drink order didn't go through so the bar was working on them (a bottled beer & cocktail) in the meantime of waiting on the drinks again our food came out. My entree was incorrect & missing a side & my sauces & my daughters meal was missing a side. The waitress brought me the correct food but still missing my side & my daughters. After awhile we finally got everything. I did notice while we were waiting for drinks & food you could see the staff were huddled together probably gossiping. While we were eating you could hear an argument that was happening in the back of the house. The greeter boys were always on their phone, I get if they have down side but don't be on your phone in front of guests the waitress did apologize for the mishaps but didn't even offer to take anything off the bill including the chips & salsa that we got with our rewards. I also noticed on our bill that the quessadia was put in as a regular one & nothing was minused out to show I didn't want the meat & ect (which I know from another server there you have to minus the toppings to get it plain) which can take a few moments so I don't think the waitress yesterday took the time to make my order plain as requested which resulted in my food coming out wrong.I don't think we'll be back because it was a...
Read morePaid but got nothing. I ordered from Chili’s in Glenmont, NY, solely b/c it advertised and promised curbside delivery. I ordered and paid through the phone application, including the suggested tip which equaled what most people tip for an hour of table service. When I arrived at the restaurant, I advised through the app that I had arrived and specified which curbside delivery parking space I was in. The app responded by telling me that my food was ready and stating “someone will be right out.” After waiting 9 minutes, I called to check the status of my order. I could see the person inside answer the phone through the window. She told me that I had to come inside to the bar to pick up my food. I said no, I had chosen curbside delivery. She said that their curbside delivery person wasn’t working, so I had to come inside to pick up my food. She never explained how I was supposed to know that. No one called or texted to tell me to come inside, and the app still said that someone would be right out. Apparently, they assume that their customers are clairvoyant. It was 70 degrees and dry at the time. I could see several staff members through the window, but she maintained her position that I had to come inside. Being disabled, that wasn’t really an option. I had driven 10 miles to get my dinner, but the promised curbside delivery was refused. So, I drove 10 miles home empty handed. This wasn’t just rude – how long would they have left me sit in the parking lot — but is fraud. I will never go here again. UPDATE: Chili's did apologize and issue...
