Very nice large and open family Italian restaurant. The design and feel made one feel as though you were in a smaller town where the staff knew many of their patrons. Unfortunately, being from out of town the service was slower and did not get things that were ordered. I waited for more than 40 minutes after recieving the menu for staff to inquire if I was ready to order, which I could have ordered in 5 minutes after looking the menu over. Bar tender had showed me the happy hour special foods and so I ordered 2 of the large shrimp for $1.99 each with my meal and never recieved these. The salad and main course (NY Strip) came out at the same time. Which then the steak had to sit while I ate my salad. The steak had very good flavor and was prepared rare which was perfectly cooked! But the steak came on a very small plate which made it very challenging to cut without knocking the pasta bowl off the plate. The food was good the portion of pasta for a side was lacking in quantity. It is a very nice atmosphere. But, the service like many other places leaves room for improvement post shut downs of the pandemic. Customer service, work ethic and proper etiquette are key to any fine Italian restaurant. I would recommend trying this restaurant.

Let me start by saying I have been to the Syracuse and Albany locations at least a dozen times. Was in town with the family and decided to go here. We had a reservation so no worries on a long wait as the restaurant was not busy. Server promptly came over and we ordered drink’s she came back and asked if we were ready to order, my wife ordered the mozzarella cheese wedges and I asked for the specials, she said hang on as she didn’t have the list on her. She came back a few minutes later and asked are you ready to order, again I asked about the specials. Oops I forgot. Ok so we order entrees and soups. I’m the party of 5 all items come out except my soup is wrong ok. She stops back and says she ordered it wrong and they are making more. Ok so next the entrees come out. Salmon dish, sliced sirloin, fettuccine Alfredo, shrimp dish and my chicken Riggies. Plate hot, food cold on mine. Call the waitress back over explain issue. She takes back and in a few minutes back with my food. It was heated just not enough so no I didn’t want to send it back again as by this point annoyed. As we are trying to eat another waitress is sweeping the carpet with a broom and dustpan and snaking the hell out of the pan each time. Now I understand cleaning as the night goes on but most restaurants use those little roll vacuums that are non powered and quiet not a waitress beating a dust pan that felt like 10 minutes and made it hard to have a table conversation. This location was a poor example of what I would consider a decent restaurant. Personally won’t go back.

I come here all the time! The ladies are awesome! I've NEVER had a bad waitress. Even curb side they're great. My downfall is the ONLY dinner I get is the pork chop dinner. I ALWAYS asked for it to be well done and the cooks there ALWAYS struggle doing that. Last Sunday the waitress told me that people don't usually ask for well-done pork chops. I was slightly offended but it's my food and my money paying for it so if I want it well-done, give me what I ask for please and thank you. Even one time I contacted corporate which took 11 days to reply but surprising I get a call from the Vice President of the restaurant and he apologized for the delay because he was on vacation and the wifi wasn't great otherwise he would've responded sooner. Anyway it was the same issue, pink in the middle and I stressed out to him I get this ALL THE TIME and it ALWAYS needs to be put back on the grill. He took care of me. I still come here often but well-done means well-done.

Rochester in a snowstorm. This place was walkable from our hotel and it was great. Service was great thanks to Amanda at the bar. We sat at the bar just after happy hour and I had the demonic months steak that was cooked to perfection. Great night. Great conversation at the bar with Brian. Great stop!!!!!
