According to this companies website Project LeanNation is a nutrition company dedicated to educating, supporting, and creating better health. I am not sure how they are creating better health when the owner is not wearing a mask in the place during a pandemic nor enforcing customers to do so either. The employees are all wearing masks but apparently the owner is exempt. Apparently the customers are also exempt as there were several customers that were not wearing masks and the employees did not enforce it or advise the customers to get their mask and come back. When the one employee did ask one of the people to put a mask on the customer replied they were fine and did not need one while continuing to be inside the building. Before that customer came in the building they had a mask in hand and when they got to the door of PLN they shoved it in their pocket.
There are two types of people that go to PLN. People that are already fit and people that are in serious need of getting fit. The later being more susceptible to the COVID pandemic as many overweight and unfit people have other contributing underlying co-factors and conditions (high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity) to name a few that are effecting their health.
These people come to PLN to hopefully improve their health but instead find a place that does not enforce a NYS mask mandate and allows 20, 30 and 40 somethings to walk around with no masks in the store. All of which are where the majority of new clusters of infections are coming from.
I refuse to do business with companies that lie and/or put peoples lives at risk. They have done both here. "creating better health" as stated on their website is a lie when they do not abide by the mask mandate to help stop the spread of the pandemic and by not abiding by it they are putting others lives at risk including employees that work there. Being the employees are wearing masks but the owner is not and they are not enforcing customers to wear masks my guess is this is compliance theater rather then really trusting medical professionals that we are in the middle of...

I enjoy their meals: they're easy to prepare (I use stove heat instead of microwave, as they can get a bit soggy from the frozen process and the defrost) and they taste great!! Especially for healthy food that can be preserved for so long, I'm amazed. Their meals change every 3 months, which seems like a long time but there's a lot of different flavors to choose from, so for someone that gets bored easily, I'm happy so far.
I love and appreciate the fact that there's an actual location where I can pick up the food on my own schedule and get help directly. The people there not only make sure I get the right meal, they even offer me the student discount when I didn't even know it existed in the first place. And when I forgot to change my plan to the normal ones (I was having the athlete plan, because I usually eat a lot, but their athlete plan REALLY IS A LOT), the lady (I'm sorry I didn't catch your name🙈) offered to help me change the meals right there and then and said that she'll refunded me the price difference. It's really incredible.

Read moreI went on their website to look into possible plans through them. I had to first put in an email and then look at the site. Which some sites do so I was like ok fine. After looking at the meals it asked about liking to pick up so I was like wait they r local cool!! So I clicked that. It immediately told me that my meals would be ready for pick up in two days and an immediate charge was put on my card. Being a young women struggling to make ends meet as is. I didn’t have enough money in there for it to go through. That didn’t matter they keep trying so I went in and looked for a way to unsubscribe or cancel the account. I deleted it. Well now they are attempting to charge me for the first set of meals and now the new weeks too! AFTER DELETING MY ACCOUNT!! I do not have over 400 dollars to spend on food in a month! I have emailed them and asked for help because their website has no contact info at all! I’m very stressed and just want everything canceled. I literally went on their site to LOOK AT PLANS NOT MAKE ANYTHING OFFICIAL!
