Cafe Castello — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

This is my all time favorite place. Great for a quick bite or a sit down. I recently had a birthday dinner celebration here and not only did everyone absolutely love the food and atmosphere but the service was phenomenal as well. The owner is the nicest restaurant owner I have ever met. Every time my boyfriend and I dine there we say we just had the best meal of our lives. Then we go back again and it just keeps getting better. I am excited to continue living so I can keep eating their food.

My top three entree picks: Penne Castello, Shrimp Fra Diavolo, and the Rigatoni alla Vodka

We went last night & sat outside . There was a special “BAND” menu which we did not expect. It stated $30 min per person. Menu gave selection of 3 appetizers, 4 entrees, & 2 desserts. No prices were listed. The four of us assumed dinner was a 3 course meal. We did not want appetizers but took them because included. When it came time to order dessert waitress told us we already reached our $30 per person so it wasn’t necessary to order dessert! The menu was very misleading. Wonderful little Family Italian restaurant in the quiet little town of Bellport. Ate in back dining room...very comfortable and airy. Our server was Sweet and took great care of us. Dinner choices were vast I got Cappelli with white clam sauce which was excellent. BJ got her Chicken Parm..large order and tasted great. Mussels Posillipo was nice ..lotsa plump Mussels in tasty garlic tomato sauce and for dessertwe got the Bomba, big ball of vanilla/Chocolate icecream covered with delish frozen milk chocolate. Didn't try Pizza but we will return soon and try some...
