So I gave it a try. I ordered a pepperoni slice. Cost me $4.54. So they’re charging a dollar plus, more than the other pizza parlors. Plus more expensive than pizza parlors in East Hampton. That’s the biggest problem right there when you’re new and you’re trying to gain that clientele you don’t want to be the most expensive pizza parlor. And the slice was good decent. Nothing spectacular, nothing that popped out. It tasted, mainly like pepperoni, nothing distinctive about the sauce, or thecheese and there wasn’t enough balance. But overall without critiquing it in detail, it’s good Pizza it’s a clean place. It has a good atmosphere and seems to be friendly service, so anybody will be satisfied eating here. myself personally and others, based on price, will not be. There is the other pizza parlor down the road. Where is I can get two slices one with, and one without pepperoni or mushroom, and two garlic knots for $6.38. If it was here, that would’ve costed me over $11 Plus, “La Velope is established, excellent food, cooked by Italians. So, I will not be returning here. This use to be my last place when the previous out owner was in. Had great prices. When he closed up, I discovered other pizza parlors as mentioned above. There,...
Read moreThis past weekend I was working in the area and I decided to get something to eat afterwards. There was a few places to choose from a BBQ place and a few other places so I decided to go into Carmelina's. As I entered inside I automatically was taken back by the cleanliness and fresh display of food which was very enticing. There was an array of different choices to choose from. The moment I made my decision the gentleman behind the counter was welcoming and assured to accommodate me. After receiving my meal I proceeded to sit down in their dining area which was very cozy and clean. As I sat down to eat I discovered that on my table and all the other surrounding tables there were positive quotes written in a small frame to me that was very impressive. How many places do you go to that does that? The atmosphere was definitely filled with good energy. The food was fresh delicious just overall amazing you can definitely feel the love that was put into it. If you want to come to a good place for good customer service, cleanliness, good energy and amazing food. I definitely recommend this place. Keep up the great up keep 👍 Mr. Giovanni and...
Read morePlease note that this is an “edit” of my first review… the first time in I was impressed… yes, the staff is very nice, friendly and helpful..; my first experience was fine and I tried a vegi slice and it was good… BUT… I’ve been there two more times… by now I kinda figured out how things work at Carmelina’s… they don’t do “meat”… okay, one puny selection for a skimpily prepared pepperoni slice but no meat pizzas… you can have anything you like as long as it’s chicken… bar bq, Marsala, chicken and cheese, whatever… (all white meat and it all tastes the same) Frankly I like more variety, sausage, Margherita with pepperoni, etc. - so’ I asked… why no meat pizza… and I quote: “… just sold the last slice, ran out of meat last night or haven’t made one yet today…” BOTTOM LINE: basically any kind of pizza you want as long as it’s chicken… I’m bummed out… lotz of choices in the...
