Today, I tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, Gulab Jamun, and Chai tea at Clay Oven in Coram, next to Home Depot. Friendly, Calm, Relaxing, Good Vibes. My experience and review are as follows below. The Chicken Tikka Masala at Clay Oven restaurant was a delightful blend of tender chicken pieces and a rich, creamy tomato-based sauce. The chicken was perfectly cooked, retaining its juiciness and smoky flavor from the tandoor. The sauce was wonderfully spiced, with a perfect balance of heat and creaminess. It was a comfort food that left me craving for more. Warning! This food is cooked at heat levels Mild, Medium, and Hot. I had the Mild The Gulab Jamun here was a sweet, syrupy indulgence that rounded off the meal perfectly. These deep-fried milk dumplings were soft, moist, and soaked in a fragrant rose-flavored sugar syrup. Each bite was a burst of sweetness, and they practically melted in my mouth. A classic and satisfying dessert. The Authentic Chai Tea was a soothing and aromatic treat. Served in a traditional style, it had a perfect blend of black tea leaves, aromatic spices like cardamom and cloves, and creamy milk. The warmth and fragrance of the spices enveloped me, making it a perfect beverage to relax with after a satisfying meal. Overall, the combination of Chicken Tikka Masala, Gulab Jamun, and Authentic Chai Tea made for a memorable dining experience. The flavors were authentic, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. I would highly recommend trying these dishes at this restaurant for a taste of authentic Indian cuisine.

📍 Clay Oven 272a Middle Country Rd, Coram, NY 11727 (Near Stop & Shop) Review: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (4 out of 5 Stars) A new location and a game changer for people in Suffolk county and especially people who live in coram. The staff are friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful. I enjoyed the stuffed eggplant pakoras and the saffron shrimp. They’re Bite sized and packed with flavor. I was invited to try Clay oven’s off menu, the chef will be introducing these items in the coming days. If you guys like any of the items, please let them know because they will put it on their menu inshaAllah. The food was delicious. As always don’t forget forget to say Bismillah and Alhamdulilah for everything ❤️ 📸 Cheese Naan 🧀 Beef Pilau 🥩 Stuffed Eggplant Pakora 🍆 Grilled Flounder Ratatouille Cream of Potato 🐠 Saffron Shrimp 🍤 Almond Crusted Malai Boti 🍗 Lahmachun with Lamb Boti 🫓 Stuffed Zucchini with Badami sauce 🔥 Marry Me Chicken 🐓 💍 Harissa Lamb 🐑 Butterflied Chicken Wings 🌶️ Mango Kulfi 🥭

EDIT: We were having issues with inaccurate hours on their website, but it looks like they’ve been updated and are back on their usual schedule! Excited to stop by again. :) — Best Indian food we've had in Long Island, no question. Even though the vibe is pretty casual — plastic plates, plastic cutlery — the food is what you come for, and everything we've tried on the menu so far has been a hit. The pav bhaji appetizer is so richly spiced, cozy, and comforting; the chicken rezala is wonderfully tender, tangy, and rich with the perfect sauce for a puri (and we would recommend their puri >> naan). Lamb and chicken basmati is also great, as is their baingan bharta (eggplant dish), though that one was a little sweeter than we expected. I also quite like their lunch special, which, when I went, had a fun variety of foods — a lentil curry, chicken tikka, rice, some kebabs — for $15, which I thought was a solid deal for the amount and variety that was given.

I love how it is family run , very clean , comfortable to sit with the family .. but there are issues also ..on the first day of opening food was good (.came with sauces , salad etc) , but as the time passed by the food is not the same ( believe me I have ordered from there 10 times now) food is not consistent, it’s more toward bland side( and now they don’t even give sauces or onions or salad ) . Even after we specifically asked them . The biggest drawback is they are closed on Sunday and they close at 7;30 pm ( ok may be they are short staffed ). But they don’t answer phone after 5 pm ( According to them they don’t orders after 5 because they are short staffed. They turned down people order . IF YOU WANT TO STOP TAKING ORDER AFTER 5 pm ( much before your closing time time of 7:30pm) . PLS MENTION SPECIFIC TIMING ON YOUR WEBSITE THAG YOU DONT TAKE ORDER AFTER 5:00pm. What a shame . I feel sad because I had high expectations, and hopefully they hire some help open late night and pls bring some flavor to your food and open...
