This was the worst experience I have ever had. I ordered my sandwich and the man was on the phone the whole time to start. Then I had a $2 reward on the app from my previous purchases that I wanted to use. The machine would not scan the barcode on my phone and the manager/cashier told me that I could use it another time. I told him I'd like to use it today because it expires soon and I received the reward and would like to redeem it so I asked him if there was a way they could honor it seeing that it is on my account. He responded that he couldn't and it was late he had to leave so I had to use it next time. So I responded to him saying that it was 10pm and the store hours are listed open until 1030pm. So then he was able to take the $2 off of my meal. I thanked him and paid but then he wouldn't give me my receipt and told me to never come back to this store. So I said excuse me and he replied that he doesn't want my business there and to never come back. Never in my life have I been told that I could not go to a store or been shown that type of customer experience. It was not my fault that his machine wasn't working properly and I go to subway quite often and use their rewards program so I should be able to use the rewards that I have been rewarded without being told never to return. I could not believe that that was how this man talked to customers. I was completely appalled. He wouldn't even give me my receipt or let me earn the points for that visit.
