Marinelli’s Pizzeria and Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

So Ill start by saying everyone who works there is friendly, and motivated. Its a small and really nice little pizza/restaurant. I have went there twice and one night I ordered the Chicken Parm dinner, and tonight a regular pizza pie. The chicken parm was pretty good. The sauce had good flavor and texture, and the spaghetti was not bland and felt homemade. The cut of chicken itself, however, was a tad on the chewy side, but the flavor kind of made up for it. The pizza was also pretty darn good, probably the best pizza that has been in that particular shopping center in a long, long time. The sauce was good, more of a sweeter sauce. The cheese was perfect the right amount, and the crust was nice, fluffy and soft. There was a tad bit of grease but that was ok for me. The prices here for the dinner options are definitely better than almost all competitors. The pizza prices are definitely a tad higher than the eastern suffolk average. I’m in town for a weeding and my wife found this place, without any exaggeration one of the best authentic Italian food that I have ever had, I’m only here for three day, already been there 3 times, brought some of my family and friends from the trip the second time and they loved it as well, just to mention a few of the items I personally had, and we even got some to go the third time we went, spicy calamari out of this world, pasta fagioli soup, caprese salad, gorgonzola salad, margarita pizza, and for dessert some regular and chocolate cannoli, the last thing I have to say is try it you with all certainty won’t be disappointed, and Joe the owner very friendly and made all of us feel welcome, so thank you for such a wonderful experience and...

I am a complete pizza snob, and I have to say the pizza I just ate from here is, legit, one of the best pizzas in my 40+ years of life. I ordered the Fra Diavlo pizza, but on a regular lg round crust, and with pepperoni instead of sausage. Outstanding!!! The different flavors hit my tastebuds at different times. Normally I give my dog my pizza bones (crusts). However, the crust on this pie was so perfectly crunchy with the right amount of chewiness that I scarfed it down before realizing that my pizza pup didn’t get his bone. I can honestly say I’ve never done that. My only issue is that my stomach isn’t big enough to eat more🤤 100% recommend this joint to those near and far. Bravo, Marinelli’s. Bravo!!!
