I'm really surprised at the few hateful reviews, believe me their total lies. The only one I partially believe is the one about the delivery guy being adamant just because I know they did have a punchy delivery guy, hopefully they replaced him by now. His food really is the best quality for miles as far as chinese takeout goes. His stuff is in-house made and fresh. They make their own crispy noodles from scratch and I see him cut the beef and pork right fresh from the bone. He has his own grinder, all the ground pork is fresh ground, their always making more wontons or egg rolls, like everytime I go there. The owner and his wife are very friendly and put up with more than they should, I chased someone out once that was hassling them and then cursing up a storm to their phone while eating like a pig. He was scaring the kids eating next to him. Some ppl make me wonder. No.1 is definitely number 1. I used to want to make a site of my own dedicated to rating chinese takeout, I kind of like chinese alot. Just tell them how you want what you want and they'll make you happy. Best soups, best ribs, best fried chicken and definitely best singapore mei fun. Even their egg rolls are full of flavor. Oh their cheese wontons, lol, you'll never want for cheese wontons anywhere else again. The day this store closes will be a sad day for many. I hate it when the ultimate chinese spot gets change of ownership, Panda Garden used to be my top choice, Wild Rice is pretty good but No.1 takes the cake. I just wish they would stop running out of Snapple Peach Iced Tea. Air conditioning would be nice, I know I ask for too much. cmon man, I gotta...

Read moreWe used to buy from this restaurant a lot. Lately, though, their food has been lacking. Just tonight I had a hankering for either coconut shrimp or coconut chicken. Thinking I would end up with cooked tails on my shrimp (past experience) I decided to order the chicken. Needless to say, the sauce tasted great. Otherwise, I can't tell you how the chicken was, as there were almost NO pieces of chicken in the fried breading. There were tiny pieces that were dried to "stringy" things, and 2 ir 3 moist bites, but other than those, there was nothing but fried, very hard, crunchy breading pieces. Such a huge disappointment. After all of the business we've given them, seems, sadly, it's time to find a new Chinese restaurant. This was the last straw (or dried, stringy chicken, as it were) for paying a bit of money for...
