Patchogue Bagel Deli — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Went there for a regular morning on a Saturday. There was a small confusion on our order. We went back to get our original order, with good intentions..and all of a sudden she one of cash register ladies started yelling in Spanish for no reason. I wasn't trying to make a big deal, I figured I'd come there and just switch because when I got there they had the order sitting right there!! Then I had the other lady trying to explaining saying you should of checked the order and if you say yes to a called order it's on you". Which I can respect, but still I am not a regular person that comes there everytime.

Which I then said, hey I didn't know and I don't understand why she's sitting here yelling and getting upset with me, when it was such a simple small mistake. Quite frankly, it was very embarrassing on my part because she's yelling at me in Spanish and everyone was just staring at me! I don't even know what she could of been saying..for all I know she could of been cursing me out, leaving me very vulnerable, not being able to defend myself..Very unprofessional, very embarrassing because I had very good intentions on just coming there, switching an order and calling it a day.

After this experience, I don't think I will be going there anymore. At first this was my favorite spot, but now I look at them very differently and urge other customers to use caution when ordering and make sure you double check your order, or you will face the embarrassing wrath.

When I fist ate here, the food and service was amazing, how ever when I became a regular who would eat here every morning the prices started to change( mind you I purchased the same thing every morning )not to mention the people working there started treating me with rudely. I always smile anyway and remain polite. THEN they starting making my food sloppy and poorly so I had no choice but to stay away and I think that’s what they wanted. Very unusual people working there giving dirty looks to polite paying customers. I will never understand that, however they just lost a customer. Won’t go here anymore- they charge unreasonably high prices for an egg sandwich. They are very greedy. The lady behind the counter is the most rudest disrespectful person ever!!!! She walks away while you are talking to her or she won’t even look at you- then she starts speaking Spanish to the other guy and you think she’s talking stuff about you- it’s just horrible treatment for a place that should be customer service oriented. There’s a bagel place a little farther in the stop and shop center on sills rd in medford that makes their bagels fresh on site there and their egg sandwiches are the best, and they aren’t trying to...
