Peter's Luncheonette — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I never did get to eat breakfast! The waitress was not open to taking my order. This is exactly what happened. I asked for my eggs to be cooked medium well, with just a bit of sunshine to them. Her reply was a lecture on the way eggs are cooked. Over easy, medium, and well done completely rejecting my request with an attitude I might add. Just a completely unnecessary reply. Upon my tossing a $5 bill on the table for the coffee ☕ and walking out upset. She put on this phoney front. "Oh what's the matter baby, what's wrong? To which I thank God for not responding to. In front of her. I was completely taken back by her. Too bad for this the food is actually excellent. But all it takes is one bad apple to sour...

It was quite affordable and waitress is always pleasant..love that you get the saucer 4 the Tea bag!! Ty!!! But..I think it is need of updating..new Seating,as the booths are killer on backs..mines shot..so..kills it!but..we came yrs ago so come by time to time..just needs help n feel bad as Between Covid n times being as tbey are..is hard to Get Help to Update!!!!Food is good,service good..They need..Geoge and His team need the Community to get behind his bussiness and..assist..maybe..Home Depot..would Help...Lowes..!Listen Up..Small Bussiness needs help to keep Long...

Food is REALLY good, and the staff is friendly & attentive. But, they only accept cash. In this time of COVID, they should accept credit/debit cards. Yeah, they have an ATM machine... But, why not make it safer for the staff and patrons, by giving the option to pay with a card that hasn't exchanged hands by thousands of people?? I'll change my rating to five stars if they make the payment process safer for their staff...
