Right Coast Taqueria Setauket — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I been here twice the first time was very good Had burritos , tacos 🌮 I don’t usually write many reviews and go out of my way to put a bad name on places since I’m on the food business myself and I understand How hard it is to deal with people . I just did a take out and me n wife were disappointed the burritos are most of it rice vey little beef and they were not assemble correctly Beef or any meat on a burrito 🌯 goes in the middle so when you take a bite you taste everything. The beef tacos don’t come with anything unless you specified but a standard taco comes with onions n cilantro . That’s anywhere I had been eating tacos 🌮 all my life . Not to mention that I waited about almost 1 hr or 45 minutes to get my order because they never got my order from the kiosk ordering screen . Went here for dinner. Had build your own burrito with fried shrimp, guacamole, fajita vegetables, rice, medium salsa and extra cheese. Lots of food. Didn’t cheap out of the amount and size of the shrimp. Purchased chips and salsa and I was not a fan. Chips felt sort of old and stale, and the way I described the salsa was the only thing it had going for it was the taste of freshness, compared to jarred salsa, but jarred salsa had more flavor. My partner got the Mongolian beef tacos, and they were tasty, and also didn’t cheap out on the fried beef, however it is not the traditional taco taste he was looking for. I believe they use flour tortilla for their tacos, and from every authentic taco joint we’ve visited (which is a lot), you get two corn tortillas, never one flour. Food entree(s) - Ice cold tacos and bowl entrees! Meats e.g. chicken, pork, etc were not hot in temperature - Ice cold!

Atmosphere - Music exceeded the 42dBA (decimal level) standard for restaurant interiors - Very loud!

Seating area - The bar type counter top with chairs - beyond filthy - pulling out chair, chair was sticky along with the bar counter top. Moved to other seating option, only to find the same filthy conditions (seating booth and table). Picked up the napkin dispenser and it was sticky and filthy as well.

Self - Serve Beverage Dispenser - coca cola - flat (absolute no carbonation) and warm temperature, tried other beverage options at the dispenser - and there was no carbonation!

Perhaps a visit by an Inspector from the Department of Health may...
