Two stars for the dry and tough croissants, but four for the bread, so...*** We were very excited to try the croissants last weekend, because they were highly recommended. Their appearance is promising, but the croissants were dry, tough, and somehow no butter flavor came through at all. Almost like airplane croissants. It would make sense if they were a day old but we bought them first thing in the morning. The bread, however, is good. Good crust, very light inside, good flavor.

An absolute gem. All the best restaurants in the area buy their bread from See & Bee. Their breakfast sandwiches are the best you’ll ever have. I highly recommend the Milk Bun or English Muffin with their homemade sausage. Every time I am in the area I come here. Very kind staff too. Come here once and you’ll be back again and again.

GREAT food and pastries! This place is fantastic, they serve breakfast until 2pm also. Super friendly staff, the breakfast was exceptional and the home-made bread was amazing. Everything was fresh. They also have a wide variety of to-go options. Overall 10/10 would recommend you try.

We were attending a workshop in Greenville, NY, and ventured to Cairo to try See and Be. The food was positively excellent! I highly recommend the cucumber, tomato and onion salad. It is so fresh and delicious (in early August, when fresh produce is plentiful--don't know if they serve it year round.) I had the sandwich called Cheesy/Salty/Sweet and it was really good and filling. The service was great, the worker behind the counter was super friendly. Just, wow. How is this place for real? Cozy, clean, and a little funky.

Hand crafted cheese. A myriad of sourdough bread options for purchase. Brewed bourbon coffee. The Bodega breakfast sandwich - likely the most delicious, light but still filling and satisfying, perfection of a breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had.

As you can surmise from this review, I’m a talker. I didn’t utter a word during breakfast - I just quietly made nummy noises and reverently savored every bite.

It can be quite challenging to find a place open on a Tuesday in Cairo, but we were fortunate enough to stumble across See & Be Kitchen on Main st. As we entered, a friendly person greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcomed. Our order consisted of their their sourdough croissant filled with bacon, egg, and topped with their homemade American cheese.
