Delightful Bites by Nina — Restaurant in Town of Cairo

I’ve been through Cairo before and spotted this place as I was leaving town but never thought much of it. I stopped in a Monday as the Catskill Mountain Bakery in Leeds was closed, the girl behind the counter was friendly, helpful and patient as I asked her about the many goodies they had in this very small shop, and they have a nice variety and assortment. I ended up getting chocolate chip, double chocolate and apple cider cookies as well as coffee cake, they were delicious, my only regret is I didn’t get the cheese cake with chocolate and peanut butter drizzled on top. My only complaint is the coffee was room temp at noonish but it was robust and flavourful. I will be back ( esp for that cheesecake) and highly recommend that you stop in if you are in the area,...

We had our cake tasting with Nina to determine which cake flavor we wanted for our wedding. Nina was so professional and welcoming, and was very cautious with peanut and tree nut allergies. All of the flavors of cake that we tried (lemon, marble, orange and red velvet) were absolutely amazing! The frosting was delicious!! Nina also provided us with pictures of wedding cakes she did in the past so we could get some ideas for what we want at our own wedding. We are so happy that Nina will be baking our wedding cake!

We went to Nina about a month and a half before our wedding, and asked her to do a wedding cake and cupcakes for 130 people. We chose the design of the wedding cake from her Instagram page, and chose the cupcake flavors. We went with 3 different cupcake flavors and a 3 tier wedding cake. She did amazing work, and her cake and cupcakes were amazing! All of our guests loved them and they couldn't get enough.
