It's not bad Chinese food, but every time I'm craving Chinese food I hesitate to order at the canton location. Being that college students are their most prominent customer, you would think that they would have patience or not be disrespectful to the customers who are their most frequent ones. However, EVERYTIME I have ordered food from A1 the people there have been rude. There was even a time that I ordered and they took two hours and a half - no exaggeration - to deliver my food. The money was already charged to my card and when I called them they told me that I wasn't allowed to get a refund. The person on the phone also called the delivery car and told them not to give me my food. So not only was I being disrespected, but I was charged for food that I was not getting. I've just had countless situations where they have been disrespectful and its uncalled for. The only reason in which I continue to order from there is because it's the only Chinese place in the area. I think they know that no matter what, they'll have business because of it and so they don't care about the customer what's so ever. Why be rude to someone willing to spend money on your...
Read moreTraveled to Ogdensburg for funeral and staying in Canton over night. I figured why not some Chinese before they close. The service was fast and the food was cooked fresh and hot when handed to me over the counter only thing I can say is the rice and the sesame chicken didn’t have much of any flavor. The pork egg roll was good and my women said the Crab Ragoons are on point I wouldn’t know because I don’t eat them.
Past reviews states that staff was un friendly in this case they were very friendly and even the guy helping close the shop while mopping got my attention knowing I had go grab my food soon said “hey” I looked up said “yes” he said “floors wet be careful so you don’t fall” I said “okay thank you” grabbed my food when ready and went on about my night.
Overall not a bad experience wish the sesame chicken and rice had a-little more flavor still not bad though as...
Read moreLet me start by saying the counter people definitely are very rude . We ordered the chicken with peanut sauce ,sliced roast pork, pan fried wontons with garlic sauce and a beef and broccoli. All dishes came very heavy with sauces it's almost like gravy on everything it's gel sauces n overpower what your eating. You can't taste the food since sauces are so heavy like jell .If there was other options in town this place would be out of business .For anyone that thinks this is good Chinese food You need to go downtown to Chinatown in NYC and try real Chinese food... Best part of meal was the egg roll very good... I could have just ordered a half a dozen egg rolls and been happy lol.. Go with these expectations and you won't be...
