NAPOLI PIZZERIA_- No risk, all reward!!! A "Pizza Crazy" family that first gets their nod from the Queen of our crew... discovered a new pizza shop that is 10 out of 10 on our DROOL factor! I stopped by a new shop that has been on the list of my wife's passion to find great pizza. Our pizza ratings are based on the HOPE that sauce, cheese, and toppings are of the highest quality, flavor and continuity. The primary gauge to us is that after eating a slice to the crust, that the crust is not just a leftover edge of the medium that caries all the goods, but more so, the dessert that establishes the final memory of the delicious foodie experience. I walked into a clean, organized and well thought out pizza shop and found an attentive, pleasant, young counter person ready to immediately wait on me. Those facts alone, nowadays, set this place above 97% of restaurants in CNY. As I ordered a slice of pepperoni, I observed a neatly dressed gentleman hand spreading pizza dough near the front of the shop. He worked with obvious experience, calm and efficient, likely from many decades of experience. I began to speak to whom I believed was the owner. He never introduced himself as the owner. He simply and kindly answered my questions relating to the ingredients while he manipulated the dough. He appeared to be a throwback proprietor, genuinely honest, knowledgeable and acutely displaying the pride of a professional. This also ranks near the top 1% from our experiences. The interaction was satisfying, and the pizza was eventually purchased, packaged and brought out to my wife. To be clear... there is a private and specific reason she is always the test pilot. IT is her "foodie" gift to the world (but mostly just our family and friends, lol) If she raves... it is a guaranteed GRAN SLAM!!! Then, the delightful drool and chomping is shared by us all. I unwrapped the slice and handed it to her... the overall presentation was like a poster for pizza perfection. One important factor our family requires is no burnt dough bubbles. We may be on the far side of the popular product that many brick and wood fired ovens provide, but we take no joy in burnt or charred dough. That being said, the slice had the perfect color and expected ratio of crust that we desire. The flavor of the crust was very enjoyable, and finished with the highest degree of bite pull and chew. It provided the finishing dessert that we crave. This was also NOT a "bready" or underdeveloped crust. It was an attentive creation. The dough rates as the top 0.01% in the area. The sauce was skillfully simple, and on point. The cheese was as excellent as we have ever experienced, and the quality could not be better outside of Italy. The pepperoni was wonderfully rich and of great quality. The remaining variable, especially in CNY, is the CONSISTENCY FACTOR, of which we can only continue to devour their pizza and have the hope that NAPOLI PIZZERIA becomes a community staple for as long as time is recorded. I stopped for a Dunkin coffee yesterday before a meeting, and I had some time to kill so I thought I’d stop in to this new pizza shop and give it a try. I ordered a slice to go. It was so good that I ended up ordering dinner a few hours later for my family. If you’re on the hunt for a pizza place that can transport you back to the flavors of your childhood, look no further than Napoli Pizza, (lucky me - just a mile from my house ). This gem has not only met my expectations but exceeded them in every way possible. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent service that made me feel right at home. The staff is attentive and genuinely passionate about their craft, which immediately set a positive tone for my experience. It’s clear that they take pride in every pizza they create.

Now, let’s talk about the pizza itself. The cheese is nothing short of fantastic—rich, gooey, and perfectly melted, it brings back memories of the New York pizza I enjoyed growing up. The crust is an absolute revelation; it’s the kind of crust that strikes the perfect balance between crispy and chewy, with just the right amount of char. Each bite is a delightful experience that keeps you wanting more. Seriously!!

The sauce is another highlight—flavorful and well-seasoned, it complements the cheese and crust beautifully without overpowering them. I often find myself feeling nostalgic about the sauces from my childhood, and Napoli Pizza has nailed it. After years of searching for a pizza place that tastes like my childhood favorites, I can confidently say that I have finally found it. Napoli Pizzeria is a true gem of a restaurant. The owner was making the food and talked to us about the history of his restaurants and was genuinely awesome. I felt like I was talking to a family member.

The food was delicious and the portions are huge. I had lunch for the next day. The chicken wing calzone was as big as my head and had fresh ingredients, was piping hot even after the 10 minute ride home, and was perfect in every way. It had the right amount of cheese, chicken, and sauce. All of the food was cooked to the best color and crispiness that I would expect, perfect in every way.

The pizza had the right amount of sauce and cheese and was delicious as well. The garlic bread was also very good, not too garlicky and had plenty of cheese. Napoli Pizzeria is a must stop if you want delectable food at a very good price with a side of family atmosphere that you can’t get in most places. The owner’s staff was dealing with some point of sale issues from previous customers but the courtesy and professionalism from the owner and staff were out of this world. We have found a new favorite pizzeria and it is conveniently located right on Taft Road in North Syracuse near Cannon Pools.

Thank you Napoli Pizzeria for a fantastic meal. The area restaurants could learn a lot from you in way of customer service and food stardom. 5 stars...
