I thought I'd treat my GF to a Ice Coffee today. I was the Cobleskill McDonalds at 9pm on 10 Dec., 2021. I placed my order and was told the price was $1.61. I paid and I waited. They were having some sort of problem with someone elses order and one of the workers directed another to make my order. What I ordered was a large Iced Coffee black with no flavoring, no cream, nothing added and less ice. What I got was a medium Iced Coffee with cream. Now yes this is just a cheap Ice Coffee and what's the big deal...well its the attitude of one of the workers. They said I paid for a medium. I said well I asked for a large. The one little young woman kept on insisting well you only paid for a medium. I said I asked for a large and thats what I was told to pay. They toss out the wrong order and she goes and makes another medium black. I said I asked for a large and she walked off. I called her back and asked for a refund. She throws out another coffee. She then gets a Manager and I get my refund. I complained that they did not take my order correctly and the rude workers insistence I just accept the fact they got my order wrong. They could have rerung it up with the right amount because the bottom line is...when I walked in I was going to pay for a large Iced Coffee black. Would I squawk over mere change? Read moreMy husband and I was traveling back home and decided to stop and have a quick bite before getting back on the road. We ordered our meals and to our surprise, we was not given any cups for our drinks. I then noticed that the cups we're on this cup thing along the wall in front of the registers but it did not have our size in it. I stood at the front counter for 5-8 min waiting for someone, anyone to address me. Noone addressed me or acknowledged me. I have to sternly get the attention of the cashier to ask for cups. He pointed me to the cup thing where I politely told him that there were no cups in it. He handed me a stack of cups then asked if I could place the rest in the cup holder. Out of kindness and disbelief I did it. I took the cups to my husband and walked over to the drink area where I noticed how nasty it was. There was dried on pop/soda all over the counter and floor. Then I turned around and looked at the dining room. It was trashed. Food was all over the floor and none of the tables/booths had been cleaned. We even overheard another disgusted customer complain to the manager about how nasty the restrooms we're. This manager looked at the dining room and did nothing. He also did nothing about the restrooms. This was the worst location we have ever been in. My recommendation is to carry wet wipes and sanitizer with you if you are going to visit the inside of this...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. 2 years ago and even a year ago I could understand the slowness due to staff shortages. Now, however, the issues this particular McDonald's has seems to be based more upon poor management and lazy/uninterested workers. My husband went today about 10:10, the drivethru line was about 15 people deep so he went inside, not wanting to miss the breakfast window. He stood there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to take his order patiently. Then he asked if anyone was going to wait on him and was still ignored, meanwhile he witnessed 10 workers just standing around doing nothing. There were 5 people on the grill and one person licking their fingers while making sandwiches. The iced coffee he ordered was extremely watered down and his breakfast sandwich was barely warm.
