Szechuan Empire — Restaurant in Town of Coeymans

I have gone to the Szechuan for at least 25 years. It is great local Chinese food that can hold its own in a larger city. This place is a takeout with an obligatory table to eat there or just to wait for them to prepare your order.

Pretty much everything that you would expect from a take out Chinese food place is on the menu. Their lunch specials are generous, priced very well and lasts well into the afternoon.

The food was delicious, we ordered Shrimp with Broccoli and Garlic Sauce and Kung-paw Shrimp. The Shrimp with Broccoli was 10/10, but I did feel like the Kung Paw was a bit salty and had too much celery. However, I would definitely come back here again as the food was delicious, it was ready within minutes and the lady with the glasses at the counter...

Wow! Most Chinese takeout is all the same. But whatever these guys are doing has kicked out up a notch.
