Trackside Pizza & More — Restaurant in Town of Coeymans

Trackside Pizza is just ok to me. There are several other pizza places like Trackside locally. The food is not bad but nothing special. The folks are nice, the service is good but I was hoping for something really tasty. There is no doubt the pizza is better than most of the chain store pizza but to me chain store pizza is really bad! I admit I'm spoiled by real NYC pizza and certainly the traditional pizza from the old country, Italy. Food is a preference and I prefer the traditional Italian pizza. In my opinion this could be a 5☆ pizza if they cut back on the crust (maybe 3/4 inch, too much) and added more cheese. I like a pizza when you open the box and see cheese and not sauce peeking through the entire pizza.

So it has been a month since I ordered, I thought I give it another try based on the owners comment. I ordered 8 cut cheese and mentioned the cheese as she mentioned and crust. I was surprised she charged me $18 for what they call extra cheese...not extra cheese as you can hopefully see by picture.... oh well, live and learn but never again...I'll try other the other...

My Wife and I have been ordering from Trackside for a few years now(has it been that long already!?) The very first pizza(first month or so open) wasnt the best, but we gave it another try.....HOOKED, I think we order from them a few times a month or so. Great food, prices, and the Staff are amazing, always very personable and attentive. They also like to personalize our pizza boxes of we order personal pizzas( just another touch that shows they care and take pride in their job and buisness) I would HIGHLY reccomend ordering your meals from them for all around great food...
