Control Tower — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

They have really great ice cream and every once in a while They Carried mint soft ice cream which has no chocolate chips in it and I hate chocolate chips so it made me very happy. They are pricey. It was worth the price. And right now is Coronavirus and everything was set up nice and safely. They have a little machine so you can pay with credit card on site and you can never received a mail to you which is nice. I still wish they had a fountain soda machine. They do sell bottled or canned soda I think Pepsi. They have nice eating some under shade in a little bit in the Sun. They have batting cages and go-kart rides aren't open yet but...

After only hearing OK things about this place I figured I'd try it out on my own, what a mistake. The service was really bad and the food wasn't any better (DON'T get the pulled pork!!). Usually, if I get bad service, I chock it up to the individual having a bad day and leave it at that IF the food is good. But if both the service and food sucks, then you're done. The great location is the only reason I gave it a second star, gotta love watching the planes take off and land! Great place to visit with family and kids. Easily accessible location with ample parking and decent seating arrangement with unobstructed views of aircrafts landing and taking off. Seating is however restricted to customers only. Ice cream: Excellent flavors of ice cream in traditional ice cream and flurry formats. Decent portions for the pricing considering the prime location. The "small" size is most suitable for the calorie-conscious adult. Their speciality toppings are average besides being chargeable. Give them a skip if not a fan...
